[OPEN] I Shall Walk With You, Holding Your Hand With A Smile
Who: Mikan Tsumiki & You!
Where: Fantasy Land... and then Zombieville
When: Duration of the Event.
Rating: Possible PG-13 for Zombie?
Summary: Catch-all log for the event! Mikan loses herself in fantasies... and then zombies. Did I mention the zombies?
The Story:
A - Fantasies
"Oh nooo~! I'm late for school agaiiin!"
It all starts with a classic anime cliche - the girl running to school with toast in her mouth. She's headed towards Hope's Peak Academy, which may be familiar to some residents of Wonderland. But this version of the school has WAY brighter colors, and much happier students. Should you dare to walk inside, you'll find even more old-school cliches - the transfer student being introduced before class (Which is Mikan)! Eating lunch on the roof (Made and eaten by Mikan)! Opening your locker to discover a whole mountain of love letters (Of course it's Mikan's locker)!
But this isn't to say Mikan is oblivious that this is all fake... She knows. She's fully aware. It's just that she just does not care. After all, she's constantly surrounded by cheery students who want her attention 24/7. Why does she have to face reality just yet? Feel free to "bump" into her around the corner as she runs to school, or any of those scenarios listed above.
Special note for our Dangan Cast - you will see your "doubles" among the classmates. Dipper Fresh, anime-style.
B - Zombies
Inevitably, for her own good, Mikan has been broken out of her illusions and... now things are dark, grim, and once again -
"WHYYYYY?!"
She's frantically climbing up a tree, trying to avoid the one monster-type she dreads above all else. She's also crying hysterically - well, more hysterical than usual.
"Why, why, whyy zombies?! Why is it always Zombies?! Events aren't supposed to repeaaat!"
C- Wildcard
Make your own prompt - did she stumble into your fantasy? Karoke time? Go for anything!
((OOC: will match your format!))

But once she's made sure the other girl has left, Ange starts to lead the zombie a bit into a different direction, making sure there's no other zombies heading her way.. And with a bit of quick running and some turns she manages to disappear out of the monster's sight enough to lose him.
It does mean it takes a bit for her to get back to where she saw Mikan last, but she does manage to find the other girl after a bit.
"Hey. I didn't die."
It's not really helping when you say that so casually, Ange...

"A-Are you okay? Did they touch you? Did they infect you?!"

She holds up a hand - probably to show there's nothing wrong with it.
"So.. don't cry so much, okay? This situation isn't as bad as it could have been." Still a rich thing to say in the middle of a zombie attack, but Ange's just been through so much shit that this doesn't even rank too high on her list of possible shitty scenarios.

"I-I'm sorry... I just... Out of all the events in Wonderland, zombies scare me the most." She quietly whines. "You can't be cured... they're really so scary... I don't want to do it again..." Take a wild guess what that meant.

It makes her hesitate for a moment, almost awkwardly, but then she slowly raises her hand to pat Mikan on the head a little. That's what always comforted her when she was little, so maybe that's how others will feel a bit better too...?? Who knows, she sucks at this. An attempt was made.
"It's alright. You can stay around me for a while if you want. I'm used to getting rid of annoying things chasing me."
awww ange
"Ah... uh... C-Can I really? ... Thank you... Thank you so much!" She suddenly bows deeply, thrusting her head down.
she's trying........
Not that Ange doesn't know a lot of people are very shitty, but she's not cynical enough quite yet to think everyone just runs on selfish interests. It's just the people around her back home who all do, really.
Besides, she has to deflect some of Mikan's gratitude before it makes her even more awkward and embarrassed. How does she deal with that when no one's thanked her before?

"Somewhere high up would be smart too. I don't know about these zombies, but typically they're not exactly supposed to be climbers, right? We should get up some stairs."

Deflecting the comment entirely and being super humble is not her style, but downright accepting it is hard too, so-- "I got it from my mother." And she continues talking quickly so as to not linger on it, already starting to walk. "Here, follow me. We could try going to the rooftop, or at least to a room somewhere high up."

"O-Okay. It's worth a try."
