Roxas & Axel [in progress]

Who: Roxas [[livejournal.com profile] oblivioning] & Axel [[livejournal.com profile] flurry_o_flames
Where Their room [138, second floor]
When: Today
Rating: PG-13 Rapidly approaching NC-17~
Summary: An affair as big as a wedding needs a bit of planning.
the Story:

The mansion finally seemed to be calming down, and so Axel had taken to lounging carelessly once more, the happiness in his heart no less brilliant than it had been during those blissful moments on the roof. He lay on the couch in his and Roxas' room, half-reading some book or other he'd found in the library and half-daydreaming every time he caught a glimpse of the rings on his and Roxas' fingers, a small, satisfied smirk playing across his face each time.

Finally, he'd had enough. "Hey," he called to the blond currently elsewhere in the room, "we should talk." And they should; they'd been caught up in the passion of the idea long enough, letting it settle in. Once they'd made plans, it would seem more like a reality, and a bright and happy one at that.

Having everything relatively back to normal and so... relaxing was always a relief to Roxas, and he was currently just enjoying it while he could, curled up in a comfortable lounge chair, eyes half-closed as he watched Axel and was completely lost in his thoughts. Thoughts about the wedding, and Axel, and how happy all of this was making him.

It wasn't a lie when he had said it was the happiest he had been, nor an overexaggeration.

Just the truth.

Despite the fact that he was watching Axel, it took him a few moments to register the fact that he was being talked to; blinking almost sleepily once, and then twice, he reluctantly gave up his comfortable spot to go and sit on the arm of the couch by his fiancé, rubbing his eyes almost sleepily. "Talk? About?" he asked, though Roxas was relatively sure that he knew what, and the thought put a tiny smile on his face. He knew that they should start discussing plans and that sort of thing, so he looked at Axel with a curious look. He didn't... even know where to begin with this sort of thing, so he was a tiny bit unsure.

After he'd finished rubbing the sleep from his eyes, Roxas focused all of his attention on Axel and what he was trying to tell him and talk to him about; the smile on his fiancé's face made him smile back in return. He'd been smiling quite a lot lately, and he supposed he could blame that on Axel too. Though it wasn't a bad thing, to be sure. He made a small, contented noise at the stroking, easily content to sit there for the rest of the day like this... but they did have some discussing and planning to get done. A bit of a pity, really.

"Of course I know," he chuckled, the mention of plans for their wedding only making him smile even more. After all, it's only been on my mind all day. "You know, I'd be fine with wearing the dress," he murmured with a mischievous look on his face. "Unless you want to debate over it~"

The words had gotten just the response he had hoped they would, though the mischievous smile still didn't falter. "Heh, I thought so~ But you know... I wouldn't mind it a bit, if that's what you wanted." The tiny pink dress that he had worn to the masquerade came to mind immediately; the incredibly comfortable little one that he'd... ended up being slightly reluctant to take off. Not that he'd ever, ever admit it. "I may not object to that, but I think that the people we invited to the wedding might have something to say," he grinned, his breath hitching slightly in his throat at the action. "Hey, stop that," he complained, though he made no move to shift Axel's foot nor did he really mean it. "'s distracting~"

"I-- oh, you're such a tease," he grumbled, his protests cut quite short as Axel pulled him onto his lap. Roxas didn't mind this new position one single bit, and proceeded to make himself quite comfortable by sliding his arms around his neck, shifting closer. "A lot better, thank you," he grinned, pressing a kiss to Axel's cheek.

Shaking his head in slight amusement, Roxas had to consider Axel's question for a few moments. "Who in the Organization d'you want to invite? Or would you be comfortable inviting, whichever." It was a slightly touchy subject, since there were some in the Organization that Roxas was close to that Axel possibly... wasn't particularly fond of, so it wouldn't hurt to ask.

As good as Axel was at hiding emotions like that most of the time, Roxas had been around him long enough to know when something didn't sit well with him - and they both knew quite well that the Organization had been a source of dislike for quite some time, despite some member's attempts to make amends. Shaking his head at the words, Roxas simply snuggled closer, threading his fingers in Axel's hair. "Of course I know," he murmured. "Inviting those three is fine with me; Yotsuba can come to the wedding too, right? And no, I didn't have anyone in particular in mind. No worries! Just curious, really." Roxas backed this up with another kiss, this time a slightly longer and deeper one, fingers tugging at Axel's hair playfully.

Roxas found that he wasn't really paying very much attention to the conversation between them anymore; as important as it was to get the wedding plans sorted out, and as excited as he was about the upcoming event, he found the caresses far too distracting. Even as he broke the kiss for a short time, he kept his fingers intertwined in Axel's hair, a smile on his lips.

"I'll have to introduce you to her sometime, then," he murmured, kissing his fiancé on the forehead. "She's a sweet kid; I'm sure that she'd like you, too. And yeah, there's no doubt that he would," Roxas murmured distractedly. His mind had also turned elsewhere by now, so he merely shook his head. "If we think of anyone else, we can always discuss it later..." 'Later' being 'when we're both focused,' of course.

"Mmm, yeah she is. You can trust me on that, right?" Though it was a bit of a rhetorical question, as Roxas knew that if Axel was half as distracted as he was, it was a question that could easily wait until later. Along with a lot of other things.

"I thought that you might agree," he smiled, returning the kiss with fervour. Though the question was unspoken, Roxas knew well enough how to answer to it. He pulled back from Axel briefly, hands sliding from the redhead's hair to work at removing his shirt. He hoped that it was encouragement enough, without having to actually put his wants and needs into words. "Axel..." Roxas murmured, not hesitating for a single moment before leaning back in and claiming another, deeper, more passionate kiss from his fiancé.
