Summary: Kokichi pretends to be a sad child until he gets bored and goes to play with the dinos.
The Story:

Whining- Hallways, Youth Center, Etc...

After running into a bunch of traumatized amnesiacs, Kokichi has realized he dodged a bullet. Who knows what would have happened if anyone found out about his traumas? If he recognized absolutely no one at all? That would suck...

Then again... Nothing's stopping him from pretending.

Earlier in the day, people might find Kokichi around the mansion, running around like he's completely lost and frightened! He puts on his best scared child impression in hopes that someone gullible will take pity on him.

Dinosaurs!- Gardens

Eventually, he decides to try to go pester people outside with his routine. He opens the door and...

Holy crud. Those are dinosaurs. Living, breathing, dinosaurs.

Screw the scared kid act, he has a better idea. He quickly rushes inside to grab something from the closets...

... The dinosaurs were minding their own business, doing whatever dinosaurs do. Nothing's really bothering them... But then they hear this strange sound in the distance.

They all turn their heads and stare.

"Rawr! RAWR!"

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Kokichi has found himself one of those inflatable dinosaur costumes and is trying to blend in. Not that it nessicarly works, but hey. The kid's bored. Let him be a dinosaur.

What's all that noise? Inside the clinic, Mikan pokes her head out, wondering what's going on.

"Huh?"

... Well, crud.

He does not want to ruin Mikan's event experience nearly three times in a row, so he continues sobbing for a moment to think of a good excuse.

".... Tsumikiiii-chaaaaann!!" Yep, now he's running up to her with tears in his eyes. "THERE'S A BUNCH OF SCARY MONSTERS OUTSIDE THE MANSION!"

"Eh?!" Mikan backs up, already worried. "Monsters? What kind of monsters?" Having been here for several years, Mikan has had a variety of monsters to deal with.

"The... The... You know! They're big and scaley and got pointy teeth!"

Generic lizard monsters? Why not.

That's a generic description! Mikan sighs. "No good... we'll have to lock ourselves up until this is over..."

"What if they're too strong and break through the doors?"

"... Wouldn't they have done that already, if they could?"

Kokichi opens his mouth.

... And closes it. And looks embarrassed.

"O-Oh... I knew that. Hah hah hah..."

Veeeery nervous(?) laughter.

"... You wanna go look at them?"

"Not at all!" Mikan exclaims, wondering why he would even think that. "I want to stay as far away from them as possible!"

"We can't even go to the window?"

"Absolutely not! They could see us!"

"But what if they don't have good eyesight?"

"I'm not willing to take that risk!"

Kokichi pouts at her.

"Why not? We won't learn anything if we just hide from the danger all the time. Maybe they don't have wings?"

"And maybe they do have sharp teeth and claws and everything else that could eat us whole!" She whines, already looking back in the direction of her safe room.

... Great. Now what was he supposed to... Do...

"... You know what? Maybe I'll just look out the window myself. Thanks for the moral support!"

And with that he wanders over to the nearest window, glancing back to her to see what she does.

"Noooo!" Mikan begins chasing after him! "They might see you!"

And now he's actually running to the window and tugging back the curtians-

... And staring blankly.
