Summary: In her last network post Wynonna brought up the idea of having a Galentine's themed lady's night at the bar, and she was met with pretty overwhelming enthusiasm so here it is. This is a party post so anyone is free to start their own top levels and mingle and have fun
The Story:

Since the beginning of the month Wynonna has taken over Damon's Bar, changing very little about it as she does so. A lot of the old wait staff still works there, along with some new faces who have volunteered to help out as well.

The decorations are surprisingly tasteful and simple, complete with candles on every table to set a mood.

There's a dance floor set up for those who want to dance -- the play list is all female artists. Wynonna has tried to choose a mixture of eras and styles of music, some of the artists included are: Janis Joplin, Billie Holliday, the International Sweethearts, Natalie Cole, Heart, Kate Bush, Cyndi Laugher, Madonna, Hole, Beyonce, Tegan and Sara, and Kesha. She tried to fit in a little of something for everyone.

There's also a table set up with goodies provided by Lup that people can snack on! Everyone should thank Lup because that means Wynonna did not attempt to make any food herself, which you should all be grateful for.

The bar itself will be serving special cocktails for the occasion but they are fully stocked with whatever else you might drink or order too.

The pool tables and dart boards are still set up for anyone who wants to use them as well.

Basically drink, be merry, and celebrate how many awesome ladies there are here in Wonderland. You all have earned it.

"A lady after my own heart."

Here's an unfamiliar face to Pepper, an elf perched just a few stools away, her features unnaturally sharp and her mouth curled up in a grin just wide enough to show off her teeth. Her long hair, nearly white in this lighting, lays braided down the back of her casual dress. And her eyes are absolutely glued to Pepper from across the short distance between them, long ears perked upwards in interest.

Lup shifts to slide her own drink down the bar a little--Whiskey, neat.--while she moves to plop into an empty stool nearer to the woman. It makes it easier for speaking, instead of trying to fight with the music playing.

"How's tricks? Enjoyin' Wynonna's little shindig?"

Well, there is an interesting sight. Pepper, however, has met an actual, talking unicorn here, so - anything goes at this point.

"Oh, it's nice. I'm not really into fruity drinks, though," she adds with a faint smile. "What about you?"

Alright well, fair. Talking unicorn definitely outweighs elf. Got her there.

"I'm a whiskey gal myself. Couldn't agree more." Her brother is definitely way more into the girlie drinks than she is, that's for certain. "It's pretty poppin'. Nice to have a party just for us ladies. Keep the menfolk out, live up with our sisters an' all that. Also, totally choice tunes. I'd give everything a good rating so far."

"It does seem to take some of the pressure off, in a way, knowing there won't be any guys around to judge us," Pepper points out with a small smile. She's used to a certain amount of (usually unwanted) attention from men, so yeah. It's nice.

"So how long have you been in Wonderland?" she asks conversationally.

Lup hums into her drink at that. She hasn't had quite the same experiences that Pepper has, but Lup's certainly heard enough of other women's plights to get it. Men can be awfully gross.

"Five months give or take? Comin' up on half a year, which seems pretty wild. You? How long you been kickin' it here?"
