She nods. "For the funnel cakes, yeah, I think they must. They probably just mix it into the batter. But then you have actual deep-fried Oreos and just like, holy shit. I mean, you know how it's like an American thing to just fry literally everything? You dunk an Oreo in batter and fry it and then you've got like this, completely perfect little donut thing with an effing Oreo inside."

She grins at him while she orders literally four funnel cakes. One for him, three for her, and she can share if he wants.

"Have you ever heard of deep-fried butter? It's exactly what it sounds like. See, that's just going too far."
