finale with GOD [complete]
Who: Leon S. Kennedy, Harry Mason, Alessa Gillespie, the God, Lobsel Vith, and the Queen of Hearts
Where: Outside, on the rusty carousel.
When: 8/13/07
Rating: R for violence and generally creepy shit.
Summary: So comes the finale, the facedown with God. But really, how does a man kill a God, anyway?
the Story:
It's difficult, but in the end he knows he can't have Lisa or James following him here. Neither are in any condition to even help him with this, and.
And that's fine. It's just... leaving them behind is not so ideal. James hasn't said a word ever since the confessional, and Harry doesn't like the idea of leaving Lisa again, but he knows it won't be for good this time.
He's tired, but getting Alessa back is very, very important now.
He's got to take care of this.
Harry steps outside, glancing around. It's dark. A bit of fog, but mostly, it's raining. Not much ash or snow -- it's cold rain and rust and blood.
No grass under his feet. Pavement and metal grating replace almost all of the life here.
What kind of God like this could give a Paradise, anyway...?
Harry continues on, clutching the katana tightly in his hand. He doubts it'll do much good -- at least, not until Leon arrives to help.
For now, he'll approach the carousel, and do what he can.

In exchange for joy, there was a reed given.
From man and woman, there was God, and here is God, to show the way to Paradise at least. People have suffered -- man, woman, child, even creatures who are not part of humanity. There were many sacrifices for Her return.
She is here. And She will show the way.
But first, She will deny the man who stopped her before.
The Mother of All gazes from inside the carousel, watching, and waiting.
"Your father is coming to 'rescue' you, dearest Alessa," She muses.

That Holy Woman is Alessa Gillespie. Despite all her actions beforehand to kill the God, and herself, the God has still chosen her as the vessel. Alessa and the God had merged, it is like they are one being.
But even the human soul has the power of freewill, and this power can overcome the power of a God.
If only to allow Alessa to plead.
"Please, don't hurt my daddy!"
no subject
He stares at his mother in complete awe, and happily rejoices. "Mo-ther! Mo-ther of all! Holy holy holy are you! Great is your glory, and wonderful are your salvation and joy!"
no subject
What was happening to this place? Were they even still in Wonderland anymore?
"I'm here. What's going on?" Leon looked at the woman standing inside the carousel cautiously, and the Yellow God next to her. "Who is she?"
no subject
He was quite happy being so close to the God, and he knew that soon, so very soon he would help his mother lead the people into the gates of Paradise. This made the golden one quite happy.
no subject
So this was God, was it? Leon's lip tightened, and he looked to Harry somewhat knowingly. In his pocket, he had the Aglaophotis. And to end all this, just like he promised Walter, he was itching to use it, when the opportunity was right.
no subject
But it's still Her. The God. She's got Alessa, and She's been causing this mess from the start.
"Just wait," Harry says quietly to Leon. "I'm counting on you, okay?"
And he steps onto the carousel, albeit hesitantly.
no subject
The Holy Mother holds out her arms.
"Harry Mason. I have been generous and offered you a place in Paradise in spite of your sin. You have refused it, as you have refused my presence. You must understand then that there will be no mercy."
Fire and lightning begin to crackle around her hands.
"Leon Kennedy. My son released your friend from his mortal body, and he will wait for you in Paradise. Go back now."
no subject
At the God's mention of Walter, Leon didn't look too pleased. "I don't know. I think I'd rather stay here and try the carousel out," he replies with a wry look. "Can't a guy have a little fun?"
no subject
"NO!! You can't kill my father!! You promised I would be loved!" Alessa shouted from inside the God.
Now Alessa realized she had been lied to, and she had to help stop this malevolent deity too. But how?

The fire and lightning spill from her hands, flying wildly into the air as the God attacks Harry. Although the man manages to duck away behind the horses, they explode -- seeming to be made less of plastic and wood and more of actual gore.
The Mother of All steps daintily after him, fine to ignore Leon.
no subject
"Yes I do need him." Alessa growled.
Come on Daddy, please do something! she thought to herself.
no subject
He ran up behind the woman, as she proceeded toward Harry. "Hey, God!" He threw the bottle of aglaophotis at the woman.
no subject
She convulses, twitching and writhing, as she separates from Alessa completely.
What stumbles away from Alessa isn't the woman in red, but some creature attempting to withhold the appearance of humanity. Flesh is rotting away, and she gasps loudly, enough to be an echo. Barbed wire whips out from her back, and she looks much more like the God born from Walter's intentions.
"You still had that--"
She gasps for air.
"You will suffer. Both of you!"
Barbed wire begins its way towards both Leon and Harry.
At the very least, now Alessa is free.
no subject
She collapses on the carousel floor, and gets a look at the God.
Strange, it doesn't look anything like the God either my mom or I worshipped.
Alessa watches the events unfold from her eyes which she tries to keep them open. When she sees the barbed wire flying towards Harry and Leon she gives out a rather pitiful cry.
"Please...don't" she pleads with the God.
If only she could help stop this thing, but even her own powers had weakened significantly.
no subject
"MOTHER!!"
"Please let me help you purify these sinners!" He begs, his hands starting to form into fire.
He then takes a look at Alessa and feels a wave of pity for her. "Alessa, mo-ther of mo-ther you could have been hap-py. Now you will have to live with the fact that you're father is a sin-ner and unworthy of Paradise."
no subject
Her arms cross in front of her chest as she watches from a distance safe from any stragglers trying to keep themselves alive within the vicinity. Lifting her head, the Queen of Hearts stares with unamused red eyes as the final pieces meet up.
How will this puzzle end? ... The Queen would not let it end any other way than her way. There would be no paradise for those that assumed power that was not rightfully theirs.
no subject
It's hard to keep dodging the barbed wire. Harry isn't in shape, not like Leon is; he's been doing this run around thing, anyway, for the past three or so days, and it's starting to take its toll.
He stumbles when he sees Alessa.
"Alessa! Can you get up?!"
He ducks away from barbed wire, watching it stable into the cone of the carousel. Blood spurts out, like the entire thing was alive, and he winces before he dodges away, trying to dig into his jacket for his handgun to shoot at the God.
He's not a great shot, but he manages to get a few bullets in before he has to duck and run again.
no subject
"Harry, get her out of there! I'll cover you!"
He sees the Yellow God summoning fire. He aims two shots at the Yellow's God hands, hoping it'll interrupt.

He sees Alessa crawling away, and is torn over what to do. Help his mother fight, or go get Alessa again so she could watch her father die a most glorious death?
"Mo-ther!? What should I do?" He shouted among the carnage.
no subject
Her child belongs safely in Paradise, after all.
The God is struck down for a moment by the firing. Rotting flesh is flung around the carousel, blood leaking over.
She struggles to stand, but really only her own barbed wire keeps her standing. She hisses, flinging one of the bleeding horses on the carousel at Leon and Harry.

She fell asleep.

The side of Her head practically bursts as Harry uses up the rest of his bullets.
Yet, She's still not quite dead.
"Someone... a mother, to hold me..."
The carousel trembles and begins to fall apart as the God begins to drag Herself back to the mansion.
no subject
He looked to where Alessa and the Yellow God were. What to do about this now?
no subject
"You wanted to deny my joy." Alessa weakly said, "Go to hell."
And she collapsed again.
no subject
Though he glances after the God, his attention's on Lobsel Vith and Alessa now.
"Get..." He takes in a deep breath, then narrows his eyes. "Get away from my daughter. Your God's failed."
no subject
He didn't wait for an answer.
"It is because in Silent Hill I am hope, God of hope. Hope can be cruel, but it is also a beautiful thing. I can tell how much you love your daughter Harry, and how much she loves you. I may leave for now, but I will always be watching over your daughter."
The Yellow God, took another look at Alessa and then walked off towards the mansion.
no subject
Giving up? Well, Leon wouldn't protest.
no subject
She turned to where Leon and Harry were, and struggled to sit up. Reaching her hand out towards Harry she whimpered, "Daddy..."
no subject
"Alessa, hey; it's okay now. It's going to be okay."
no subject
She inhales the sweet fragrance of the blood red rose before finding her way safely to the main floor; standing in front of a large red curtain and waiting until she sees the God come in from the battle, bleeding and incomplete.
no subject
And She sees the Queen of Hearts.
She raises a hand to reach out with rotting fingertips.
"You. Yes you..."
She thinks She's chosen a new Incubator.
That's what She thinks.
no subject
"Poor, pathetic excuse for a god." Each word drips with contempt and anger as she lifts here head. There is a small bandage on her collar from a burn that hasn't completely healed yet. "But, I must give you credit." She comments, idle spinning the rose in her hand as she gazes at it.
"You're persistant. ... but your choice in trying to live on will cost you your life... parasite." The Queen of Hearts waits until the God is close enough before raises the arm holding the rose to her side.
Within moments, the rose slips from her opening fingers, and along with that, the curtain opens, unveiling a large victorian style floor mirror as she steps away to let the God see her full reflection. As the rose crashes to the ground, petals breaking off, her eyes glow an eerie red as the mirror pulsates and uses some unseen force to pull in the god to its clutches.

The barbed wire tears into the floor, scrambling like a spider trying to escape from its trap. The Holy Mother twists frantically, screaming in frustration.
"I'll take you with me if I must!"
The wire writhes towards the Queen -- or rather, tries.
no subject
"Where your going, it wouldn't matter if I went with you or not..!" She stands still, even allowing the barbed wire to reach dangerous lengths before she side steps, letting the wire barely touch her.
The mirror continues to pulse, trying to pull in the target it has been commanded to grab.
no subject
But She cannot continue struggling.
The mirror wins.

As the God is pulled into the mirror, the Queen reaches a hand up to touch the disfigured face and run her finger across the disgusting skin.
"Such a silly little. But I'm feeling generous, so I shall impart a few words of wisdom on you~" The Queen's smile was anything but generous as she leans in, letting her lips whisper next to what look like ears on the head of the God. "You may have been God in the world you came from... but here, in this Mansion?" The Queen outstretches her hands to make a motion to everything around, "... There is only one God and you are NOT it."
The Queen then leans back as the mirror pulses for a final time to fully envelop the God of Silent Hill.
no subject
And that is the end of Her.
