Summary: A catch-all for the Kyln / Sierra Madre event!
The Story:

For the duration of this event, the entire mansion will be part space jail, part apocalyptic wasteland desert with an abandoned hotel/casino. On the third day an escape route not previously discovered in the Kyln appears and breakouts can be planned...

...Only for everyone to find themselves walking through a large glass prison toward the toxic gas filled wasteland of a desert, the Sierra Madre. Does the prison look better than the toxic cloud outside? If you're stuck in the prison after dark beyond day 3, you'll be forced into and locked in your cell for the night. But at least locked away, nothing from the outside can hurt you. If you try to brave the actual elements in the desert it might be a little hard to breathe. The air has pockets of toxic gas and even a few seconds of exposure could prove deadly. And watch out for the Ghost People.

Inside the abandoned hotel/casino you'll find shelter from the gas and ghosts, but beware the holograms that are 50/50 with their attitude. Prison beatings, a beating from the holograms, which one Would You Rather? And whatever you do, don't try on the collars lying around unless you like to explode. Literally.

[ wynonna isn't cool with being stuck in prison either and she's finally stopped trying to bait the guards and instead is working on looking for a way to pick the locks or get out. she has a lot of complicated feelings about a kid being stuck in there with them, but she tries not to let that show. ]

What kinda things do you have in mind, kid?

[Steven's not thrilled about it himself. But he's trying to take it easy at least until he can find a way to use his powers and bust this popsicle stand! At least his cellmates seem nice? (Steven thinks everyone seems nice!) So he answers this one cellmate with a smile and a lighthearted shrug.]

Oh, it could be anything! A fun fact about yourself, your likes and dislikes, cool things you can do... Whatever you wanna say!

[wynonna sometimes still doesn't know what to do with overt friendliness, she was the town pariah back in Purgatory and people generally didn't want to get to know her. but this kid seems....pretty sincere at least. almost nauseatingly sweet.]

I have a motorcycle back home -- I love her a lot, she's one of my prized possessions.

A motorcyle... [He repeats with awe and claps his hands together.] That's so cool! I've never ridden one, but it looks like a lot of fun! [He goes on to mime revving up a motorcycle excitedly.]

Yeah, she's a blast -- my uncle left her to me when he passed away and she's pretty much the coolest thing I own.

[she misses that motorcycle every day in Wonderland, honestly.]

Awww. [It adds another layer of sentiment to know that it was a heirloom from a family member. Steven smiles warmly as he goes on.]

Um, let's see... I have a pet lion back home! He used to be my mom's, probably.

Holy crap! [and then she covers her mouth because whoops, she probably shouldn't curse in front of the kid. sorry. she's not good at self censorship.]

A real lion? That's pretty badass.

[He does fret, a bit scandalized by the curse words. But then he goes on sheepishly.]

U-um... yeah! It is really cool and - and kicks butt! He's pink and magical and everything! Sometimes it's hard to get him to listen, but he's really a big old softie!

[she'll work on it, she's not used to talking to kids.]

I'd imagine a lion would have a mind of it's own, I mean they say that about regular cats and lions are like an extreme cat. I've never heard of a pink one, though.

[It's okay. He'll cope. Steven nods along.]

Oh, the pink's because of being magical! I think. But you're right. That's the best way to describe him... he's a really big cat! And I love him.
