+ The Universe is under no obligation to make sense to You +

Who: EVERYONE!
Where: EVERYWHERE!
When: Saturday, May 19th - Wednesday, May 23rd.
Rating: PG-13, warn if you're gonna go higher!
Summary: A catch-all for the Kyln / Sierra Madre event!
The Story:

For the duration of this event, the entire mansion will be part space jail, part apocalyptic wasteland desert with an abandoned hotel/casino. On the third day an escape route not previously discovered in the Kyln appears and breakouts can be planned...

...Only for everyone to find themselves walking through a large glass prison toward the toxic gas filled wasteland of a desert, the Sierra Madre. Does the prison look better than the toxic cloud outside? If you're stuck in the prison after dark beyond day 3, you'll be forced into and locked in your cell for the night. But at least locked away, nothing from the outside can hurt you. If you try to brave the actual elements in the desert it might be a little hard to breathe. The air has pockets of toxic gas and even a few seconds of exposure could prove deadly. And watch out for the Ghost People.

Inside the abandoned hotel/casino you'll find shelter from the gas and ghosts, but beware the holograms that are 50/50 with their attitude. Prison beatings, a beating from the holograms, which one Would You Rather? And whatever you do, don't try on the collars lying around unless you like to explode. Literally.

[ This is a catch-all for all your prison/desert needs! Please mark your threads clearly in the subject line with your character's name and either a cell number or just a location if you didn't feel like randomizing it or you're making a top level for a public place (like the dining hall or wandering the hotel/casino). Here's the plot post if you need it!

Have fun! ]

[Kokichi walks in on her attacking the vending machine and losing miserably. As much as he's chuckling, he can't help but wonder what could be hiding in that old thing.]

Nee-hee hee...

[He walks over to her side with a sly grin on his face.]

Hey, you need some help getting in that thing?

[She's in the process of kicking it now.] Stupid dumb vending machine, let me-

[And then she stops, realizing she's been spoken to and slowly stands down from her assault, adjusting her prison jumpsuit and fixing her hair. Ahem. She wasn't doing that thing she was just doing.] ....Maaaaybe?
shslliar: (How is it with a frivolous empty heart?)

[He won't tell anyone. Honest.

He's just looking all chill, smiling like he's hiding a huge secret.]

Well... I do happen to know how to pick locks, and I think I can open that old vending machine up for you.
powerofmabel: (☆ how to fly)

[She squints. People who talk like that rarely get her usual optimism and faith. It's holdover from Bill and Gideon.] What's the catch, man?
shslliar: (I found a thing!)

[personal profile] shslliar 2018-05-28 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
[Huh. Guess she's already had her fair share of liars. Poor thing.]

Nothing too drastic. Just wanted some of whatever's in this thing.

[He taps the door of the vending machine.]

...Seriously? That's it?

[Hmmm. Hmmm.

Whelp. Sounds legit.]
Okay, you got a deal. Just because we're in a messed up situation doesn't mean that sharing isn't important.

[She steps away from the candy machine.]
shslliar: (Tis cool)

Thank you~!

[He walks up to the machine, inspecting the door and looking for a lock.]

Hm... You got a pin on you? This looks a bit tricky.
