+ The Universe is under no obligation to make sense to You +
Who: EVERYONE!
Where: EVERYWHERE!
When: Saturday, May 19th - Wednesday, May 23rd.
Rating: PG-13, warn if you're gonna go higher!
Summary: A catch-all for the Kyln / Sierra Madre event!
The Story:
For the duration of this event, the entire mansion will be part space jail, part apocalyptic wasteland desert with an abandoned hotel/casino. On the third day an escape route not previously discovered in the Kyln appears and breakouts can be planned...
...Only for everyone to find themselves walking through a large glass prison toward the toxic gas filled wasteland of a desert, the Sierra Madre. Does the prison look better than the toxic cloud outside? If you're stuck in the prison after dark beyond day 3, you'll be forced into and locked in your cell for the night. But at least locked away, nothing from the outside can hurt you. If you try to brave the actual elements in the desert it might be a little hard to breathe. The air has pockets of toxic gas and even a few seconds of exposure could prove deadly. And watch out for the Ghost People.
Inside the abandoned hotel/casino you'll find shelter from the gas and ghosts, but beware the holograms that are 50/50 with their attitude. Prison beatings, a beating from the holograms, which one Would You Rather? And whatever you do, don't try on the collars lying around unless you like to explode. Literally.
[ This is a catch-all for all your prison/desert needs! Please mark your threads clearly in the subject line with your character's name and either a cell number or just a location if you didn't feel like randomizing it or you're making a top level for a public place (like the dining hall or wandering the hotel/casino). Here's the plot post if you need it!
Have fun! ]

[The only reason she pushes is because she can't imagine this was something from Natasha's life.]
no subject
[Dryly.]
I can't say whose it might be.
no subject
I think it's safe to say I'm not a fan of whoever's memory this is.
What are you in here for anyway? Some of the ones I've heard are pretty ridiculous.
no subject
Of all the things they could have pinned on me, they went with one I'm not actually wanted for.
no subject
At least it sounds a lot more legit than the one they gave me.
[Going up the stairs to where her cell was located was so much fun right now.]
I'm okay if you want to go back to what you were doing before.
[In other words she didn't need a babysitter.
Although she wouldn't say no to company either.no subject
But she doesn't run off entirely.
Company, not babysitter.]
So, kid, what are you in for?
[A dryly mocking voice, not really adopting the accent of an old Hollywood ganster, but drawling out the words.]
no subject
Criminal interference with religious worship. So I guess it could have been worse. Sounds like we both got off easy. Not that you could tell from the way they treat everyone here.
no subject
[Natasha leans back against the walk, arms and heels crossed as she keeps an eye on the corridor.]
Which might not be a bad thing.
no subject
I know you've been coming up with a plan since the moment we met up.
[Met up, saved her ass, same thing.]
What is it?
no subject
Believe me, I wish I had a plan. Unfortunately, we're calling this one on the fly. But... there's always an opportunity. An opening.
The trick is being ready when you see it.
[Spoken like someone who's gotten out of a prison before.]
no subject
[It's half a joke at least. Daisy wants to offer her a seat except there are no seats, just the hard floor that was really uncomfortable.]
I haven't seen you in a while. You doing okay?
no subject
[Half joking, half good advice. Maybe just a fraction of an offer?]
Can't complain, present situation aside. This? This is one I can handle.
no subject
[Daisy definitely wouldn't say no to her having her back though.]
You've got some experience in situations like this?
[As if she doesn't know that already. Shifting a little so she was sitting more upright, Daisy barely masks a wince of pain as she does.]
Think they have first aid in this place?
[Most likely not. Because why would they?]
no subject
A girl's got to have some secrets.]
Even if they do, I don't think you'd want it. Get the feeling the supplies wouldn't exactly be regulation. You going to be okay without? Nothing broken?
no subject
[She has definitely patched herself up with worse things, but considering the event... She just wants to at least clean the blood off of her face though.]
Possibly a few ribs, and my dignity.
no subject
Luckily, a bruised ego doesn't usually slow you down in a fight.
no subject
I would've gotten out of here if my power was working.
[Has she even told Natasha about that?]
no subject
[A lot harder to keep a bunch of people prisoner when half of them have magic or super strength or what have you.
She hasn't told Natasha. If she knows some other way, she doesn't mention it.]
no subject
[She really hates when these events mess with powers. It's just a reminder that they really aren't in control of themselves.]
You don't have to stand guard you know.
no subject
[Which may be a narrow distinction to make.]
no subject
[She's gone a while without getting beat up, she almost forgot what that felt like. This was a great reminder, and with the adrenaline wearing off she was definitely hurting.]
How many more days are we going to be in this hell hole?
