Who: Becks + OPEN Where: Mansion grounds; Deux Lux; When: Aug 7th Rating: PG-13 (cw: depression, talk of death, violence, alcohol as a coping mechanism) Summary Today is Becks' Death Day and she's Not Dealing Well. The Story:Prompts in comments below~
Someone looks like she needs distracting. Mazikeen doesn't know what's wrong with the girl at the table, and she doesn't really care. She's pretty and sad and Maze likes to think she's pretty talented at cheering up pretty girls when she wants to. She goes behind the bar and takes a bottle of the good stuff from the top shelf. It's Wonderland, there's no reason for anything not to be top quality, but there's still some drinks that are better than others.
Maze strides over and slings herself into a chair, putting down the bottle with a thump.
Becks glances up when a bottle thuds lightly onto the table and she's joined by someone declaring she needs something better. "Well, I can't say no to an offer like that, can I?" She smirks and takes a couple of the empty shot glasses set to the side and pours up one for both of them.
She smiles a little at the toast-action, but shrugs a little at the question. "Being alive after dying?" It sounds weird, but it's also true. Funny how life works out that way. "Not such a great note to make a cheers on though, huh?"
She follows suit and pours up some more. It probably won't be very long before she gets tired of that game and just passes the bottle around. "I guess that's true."
Sometimes, she isn't sure she has a place here, or if she could. Her old life isn't one that's easily revived here, and she'd never given much consideration to exactly what else she might do with her life if there wasn't being an Irwin on the table.
[It may not be the most tactful phrasing, but it presses into the showboat in Becks and brings a smirk to her lips as she cants her head a little to one side.] I blew up the Whitehouse.

"Here. You look like you could use an upgrade."

[Maybe not the most tactful question, but Maze has never claimed to be tactful, and she's curious.]
