Summary: Liv and Papyrus host Wonderland's Inagural Inter-planetary Fod Festival!
The Story:

The stage has been set for everyone to have food from all over time and space, and Liv is possibly a little more excited about this than she should be. Her message with Papyrus didn't seem to drum up a ton of interest when they made their announcement, but she's hoping like hell this actually goes somewhere.

There's a table with Sharpie pens and little cards to write the name of the dish, main ingredients, and where it came from (plus the bringer's dish if they want) and three huge coolers filled with ice and various drinks like bottled water, juice boxes, soda, and beer for the adults (that one's labeled on top). Cutlury, napkins, and cups are taken care of! There's also music playing, the equivalent to what might as well be a random Pandora station not set on one specific genre of music. It easily goes from an Adele song to the Spice Girls and back around to something by Adam Lavine.

All that's really left, is for Liv to sit back and enjoy the day.

"Are you kidding?? They're incredible! I've been talking to the owner of the diner here, and he's totally into the idea of a mobile waffle cart as long as I'm the one who runs it. I was thinking dessert waffles, but there could be a sweet and savory option."

Leslie eyes him, looking very much like she's going to try and pitch roping him into this.

"You're going to run a waffle cart? Perfect. And I can definitely see a dessert anything going well in this place." Especially with the way others were eating at this event. Not like they could age or gain weight, after all.

He stays silent a long moment, trying to look innocent. "You think they would let you have an assistant?" How can he resist?

Leslie's face lights up and she gives him a sly grin. "I mean, who's gonna say no to helping a lady push a cart around the entire mansion grounds? You in?"

"Well, I wouldn't say no, but then I run daily so I can eat all the waffles I want." Even if he didn't have to here with the way that they don't seem to age, and he figures they don't gain weight either. It's still a force of habit since the military for him to work out to stay in shape, and he hasn't stopped before this place and now there.

"Ugh, running." She will never, unless it's for a political campaign her life.

So really she just may physically run for the first time in Wonderland.

"I'm glad you'll help! I'm not ready to start yet, there's something else I wanna do here first. I just don't know how I'm gonna pull it off. But I will. Somehow."

He laughs at that, amused by her reaction. "You spend some time in uniform, and you can't help yourself to just keep doing it." Which isn't true for all, but has been for him since he got out.

Maybe if she wants to talk about it, she would have, but he can't help but to ask. "Okay, I'll bite. What have you got in mind? Does it involve taking over from the Queen?"

"What? Take over?" She shakes her head quickly. "No, no, nothing like that. I don't want to take over anything. I just want to do something fun that brings everyone together, sort of like this. I wanna do a festival or a carnival. Something big and for everyone."

Considering that, Barbie gives a nod. "Like a fall festival thing? A lot of the towns up in New England have those," he says, remembering seeming them around while he was working up that way. "That would be interesting. Especially see how well this went."

Leslie grins. "I think so, too! Bringing people together to forget about where they are for a second and just have fun is my kind of project. I can pull this off. I know it."

"Even in as short a time you've been here, I don't think anyone will doubt that," he says, and there's a conviction in his tones. He truly means that. And it will be interesting to see what she does in Wonderland, for Wonderland as well.

"Thanks, for the vote of confidence," Leslie says with a smile. "I sometimes come across as...I don't know. Maybe too much, but it's never just for my benefit."

"Maybe it depends on what you've dealt with but for me? That's a positive thing and I'm glad for it. Could have helped a lot in the Dome," he says, truly believing that. He saw how some trying had helped.

"Well, I guess we'll see what happens! I think I need to sit down and figure some things out. But you, me, and the mobile waffle cart are hitting the road soon, so get ready."

"Just let me know when and where, and breakfast all the time will be a thing." He glances up, giving a smile. "I should probably go and harass Julia for a bit before I'm in trouble for making you waffles," he teases. "Talk to you soon?"

"Absolutely! See you soon, Barbie."

And with that, Leslie sets out to get some questions answered.
