Summary: Liv and Papyrus host Wonderland's Inagural Inter-planetary Fod Festival!
The Story:

The stage has been set for everyone to have food from all over time and space, and Liv is possibly a little more excited about this than she should be. Her message with Papyrus didn't seem to drum up a ton of interest when they made their announcement, but she's hoping like hell this actually goes somewhere.

There's a table with Sharpie pens and little cards to write the name of the dish, main ingredients, and where it came from (plus the bringer's dish if they want) and three huge coolers filled with ice and various drinks like bottled water, juice boxes, soda, and beer for the adults (that one's labeled on top). Cutlury, napkins, and cups are taken care of! There's also music playing, the equivalent to what might as well be a random Pandora station not set on one specific genre of music. It easily goes from an Adele song to the Spice Girls and back around to something by Adam Lavine.

All that's really left, is for Liv to sit back and enjoy the day.

"The longer you're here, the more you'll realize magic isn't a bad thing. In fact, most of the time it comes in real handy when events happen. You'll be okay, Misty."

Of that, Michonne's confident. She'll find her way.

"It's really not a bad thing. I just know I can get killed for it. Others..." She sighs, considering that though. "I can try and accept they're fine with it. It's so weird though," she says, glancing around with a shake of her head.

"Thank you though. It means a lot, thank you."

"Don't mention it. If you ever need anything let me know. But just as a heads up, sometimes this place takes away all magic. Nothing works, not people's witchcraft, not the closets. Nothing. That's when you either fight or you find someone to protect you."

There's a katana strapped to Michonne's back, so three guesses which category she falls into, and the first two don't count.

Misty is quiet, considering that as her expression hardens a bit. After a time though, she nods. "Understandable, though I'm right in assuming they give it back though? I admit, I'm not as strong without magic, but I've lived off the land by myself. But thank you. And thank you for all of it. I appreciate it."

"Eventually it comes back, yeah. Might take a couple of days. But we come together, survive the best we can. For the most part, my experience is we don't let shit happen to one another if we can help it."

Sometimes you can't, bad things happen and there's nothing you can do to change it. But most people here at least try to help, and that's not nothing.

"It's nice that people around here take care of one another,' she says, sighing softly. "You don't always see it and it's amazing to see it with people from so many different places. If someone had told me about it, not sure I would have believed it."

She glances around a moment, watching everyone as they move about this festival, enjoying themselves with one another. "Not sure I feel comfortable with the mansion and all, but it's really neat to see this with being kidnapped and all."

"Took me about six months to start talkin' to people. I didn't trust it and I still don't trust Wonderland. But the folks are pretty decent. Give it some time and you'll feel right at home."

At least, Michonne hopes that for her.

"Oh well I can't imagine anyone trusts this place, though... Can you get that Stockholm thing for places and not just people? I think I want to be here, but that doesn't mean I trust it."

She knows better than trusting almost anyone at this point.

"I hope you're right. It's already better than where I was, so I'm willing to try my best here."

"I get you. This place is better than where a lot of people were, but that doesn't mean any of us would choose to be nearly killed every other week. Still, there's a lot of good, and people tryin' to do good. That makes it a kind of okay place to be," she says with a soft smile.

"I think I was already dead," she murmurs. "So not sure it really matters. I'd rather nearly dying to where I was. They could make it every week if they wanted. Not that I want that for anyone else though."

"Where were you? Before, I mean."

Sounds pretty damn terrible, and it's a shame she's dead. Michonne'd never want that for anyone, either.

Every time she says it, Misty can only imagine the reaction but she knows how she might react if not for knowing what happened. "I was in Hell. Literally. Not like it felt like Hell,' she says, voice firm and determined. "I descended into my own personal Hell and never got out. Not until here."

Goddamn. Michonne's heard of a lot of things - including her own girlfriend going to the Underworld - but not anything like this.

"You're here now. And hopefully, here's where you get to stay for a while."

Oh but Misty lights up at that, nodding. "Exactly how I feel. I wish I could send home those that want to go, but I'm nice and cozy right here."

"You just keep makin' good food like this. You'll have plenty of friends," Michonne says with a smile. "I'm real glad I got to meet you, Misty."

"I will do my best," she says, offering a wide, warm smile. "And the same. Really beginning to think I may like it here."

She's been willing to embrace it to not be in here, but the place is really shaping up to be so much more.
