How can they see with sequins in their eyes? | OPEN

Who: Stanley Pines [[personal profile] charlastan] and YOU, VALUED CUSTOMER
Where: Room 15 on Floor 3
When: 8/18 - 8/24-ish (Opening Week!)
Rating: PG-13, cw for bad taxidermy
Summary: Stan gets bored and decides to open up an extension of his business in Wonderland, because he has literally nothing better to do. ...Also maybe because he misses it. Come see his bad advertisement!
The Story:

A. GIFT SHOP

The door to room 15 on the third floor reads MYSTERY ROOM and is covered with as many question marks and card suits as Stan could conceivably glue to it. The gift shop inside is similarly themed. It's a mishmash of two styles that don't really go together, but Stan's decided that makes it even more thematically appropriate. Besides, it's not like he has to think about things like theming in any real way - not when he's literally bartering for things just to feel like he's making money.

The gift shop has:

  • T- shirts, snow globes, baseball caps, cheesy keychains, postcards, and other typical gift shop junk.

  • A rack of welcome pamphlets that he stole from the front hall that he's absolutely attempting to sell for a profit.

  • No vending machine, but there is still a freezer full of ice cream for sale

  • A sign near the cash register reading CURRENCY ACCEPTED: JOKES (GOOD OR BAD ONLY), TOFFEE PEANUTS, SECRETS, BACON, OTHER FOOD OR DRINK, ARM AND/OR LEG, HOMEMADE GIFTS, GENERAL BRIBERY, ROUGHLY $15 IN ANY CURRENCY, SHIRT OFF YOUR BACK, WEAPONRY, TAXIDERMY PARTS, INFORMATION, WHATEVER THE CASHIER FEELS LIKE TAKING AT THE MOMENT. Stan may occasionally have people other than himself at the counter, and when someone else is running the gift shop you must cater to their whims while bartering. They're all flexible to some degree though, so give whatever you have a try!

  • A staircase going down, with signs posted near it that read MYSTERIES BELOW, WHAT???, and TOURS HERE!!

B. THE MYSTERY ROOM

Room 15 on the second floor is also taken, but this door is locked from the inside and is only accessible by the staircase in the Mystery Room's gift shop, and only once you've bartered for a tour. The door is also covered with the same symbols, and a sign that reads COME TO THE MYSTERY ROOM (ONE FLOOR UP).

This room is much darker, and contains the following exhibits for the moment:

  • An assortment of "greatest hits" from the Real Mystery Shack that Stan has recreated - the Six Pack O'Lope, a Fiji Mermaid, and something he's labeled "Son of Sascrotch", along with other assorted repeats, all with signs that say COME PAY REAL MONEY TO SEE ME IN GRAVITY FALLS AT THE MYSTERY SHACK

  • A toothy smile hanging from a string from the ceiling labeled CHESHIRE CAT

  • A desk made assembled entirely out of ravens labeled WHY A RAVEN IS LITERALLY A WRITING DESK!

  • Something Stan has cobbled together out of a turtle and a cow that he's decided to label MOO-TANT TORTOISE because obviously it's a Stan Pines original. What kind of other weirdo would put those two things together?!

  • An actual heart of some kind with a toy crown on top of it labeled THE QUEEN OF HEARTS PROBABLY

  • A models of the Red Queen and the White Queen made out of balloons, pool noodles, and bad wigs.

  • There's a row of mirrors that Stan wasn't able to remove, so he's just set them up as an interactive exhibit - there's buckets of tomatoes to throw at them and even hammers since the glass will repair itself before the next tour. Come have some good old violent fun with WHACK A MIRROR!

More things will be added periodically with the occasional new log, but this is what's there opening weekend! Prose or [action brackets] are fine, and feel free to threadjack each other and use this as a mingle!
