Dipper doesn't know. Here, in the weird void, he doesn't really have any tricks. He doesn't know what to do except
run.

Why
are
they running from a room? Sure, Bill made it all monstery, but... it's a room. They know what's in there. Someone's memory.
"Mabel, stop running! I got a plan!"
Dipper grabs Mabel's hand and whirls them around, clinging close to her. Wow, he hopes he's not wrong.
