[ open mingle post ] acting up, drink in my cup
Who: All the singles
Where: The Love Hotel Champagne Room
When: February 1st-3rd
Rating: pg-13, language is ok but if you want more, get your own room :|
Summary: Chloe and Freya are having a singles party to escape the real purpose of the love hotel.
The Story:
[ Once everyone has a general idea of what is going on, Chloe and Freya manage to co-opt a room a little out of a way for their own, less than romantic purposes. The room is decadent enough - there are beds, of course, and some chairs and a cozy fireplace, but the best part is the giant champagne hot tub that is the perfect temperature and comfortable enough to spend a weekend in.
The room is also stocked with plenty of booze and food, whether you are in the mood for pizza or chocolate covered strawberries is up to you. Mostly, it is an oasis for those who are unattached, whether it be by choice or not. Just because it's a love hotel doesn't mean singles can't have fun, too!
Please feel free to make your own top levels, closed or open welcome, tag out and do your thing. ]

Reckon 've burned most a' it out by now. Keep waitin' fer this place t' finally do me in.

Have you died during an event?
no subject
Nope.
[Three years, no deaths. Has to be some kind of record.]
Been shot, been stabbed... nearly got there a couple a' times. Like I said. Reeeeeeal fuckin' lucky.
no subject
Neither have I.
[And she's not sure how she feels about that, though her brothers are likely very happy.]

[Doesn't seem fair, somehow, but that thought barely bubbles up to the surface before it pops and is entirely forgotten.]
Y' don't strike me as the 'easy to kill' type.

I'm tough, but I'm still human. One bad snap to the neck and I'm as dead as a doornail.

Once spent a week walkin' 'round with no spine. Turns out y' don't need it as much as people think.
no subject
How did that work?
no subject
[It gives him a headache just thinking about it.]
I get abducted by this group a' crazy pre-war scientists, wake up in their lab an' next thing I know 'm starin' at my heart an' spine in fuckin' jars, and they're tellin' me they "accidentally" flushed my brain away but I don't fuckin' need it anyway. Walkin' 'round jus' fine without it.
no subject
That sounds horrific.

[The drink doesn't last long when it's topped off. It's not something he likes to talk about, for understandable reasons.]
Left me wi' some nice souvenirs. Here... [He pushes up his hair, showing a thin scar running around the entire circumference of his head, near to the hairline.] An' across my chest, up my spine.

My magic can do some terrible things, but not anything like that.
