Tamaki & Haruhi [COMPLETE]

Who: Haruhi Fujioka, Tamaki Suou
Where: Haruhi's room (27)
When: Friday, at the beginning of the event.
Rating: PG
Summary: Tamaki and Haruhi awaken as enemies. Hurtful things ensue.
The Story:

It started when she felt the arm lay across her side. Something she hadn't really minded since this situation started, but somehow today it was angering. She wanted him out for some reason. She wanted to .... she wanted to go offer him up to be a beating post to the Red Queen. "Get your arm off me." She growled.

On his side of the tiny bed, Tamaki stirred. Hmm. Something about this was simply NOT comfortable. His tall frame was forced into an impossibly small amount of space. So he'd stayed ON the bed last night. He'd always been so conscious of the circumstances that he'd pushed himself as far from--oh. Her. Haruhi. Was she telling him to move? Telling HIM? Immediately he jumped out of the bed, pulling the sheets with him. He glared down at her.

She sat up with a sleepy glare. Really, that had to be the cutest glare EVER. He took the covers. HE took HER covers. What sort of idiot would take HER covers because HE couldn't stay on HIS side of the bed? Hell, it was HER bed too. HER bed. She was just LETTING him use it. "What do you think you're doing?"

"Getting OFF," he said curtly. Despicable. He'd never felt so disgusted with anyone. Or rather, he'd never felt disgusted with anyone before at all. Which made this even more infuriating, somehow.

She scoffed, tugging at the covers that he had taken with him. Those were HER covers he was taking. He would give them back. "Not in THIS bed you're not!"

"WHAT!?" And now she was sputtering nonsense. She'd probably lost it. Made sense, she'd been keeping herself locked up alone in the library for so long.

Almost a damn year, but she'd gotten exactly what she wanted out of it. More then he could ever say about ANYTHING! "You heard me." She hissed back at him. Oh he wouldn't be doing THAT on her sheets. What that was she wasn't sure, probably sleeping, but he wasn't doing that. He wasn't taking anything off HER bed. She pulled HARD on the sheets.

He deliberately let go, his cool violet eyes narrowed and seemingly shooting darts of anger her way. "I can't believe you would be so contradicting," he spat. "Taking back an invitation..."

"You're the one getting out, I told you to MOVE YOUR ARM IDIOT!" She actually screamed this time. What kind of a birdbrain was he? That stupid jerk throwing his weight around in the bed. What, did he want her to sleep on top of hi. She'd totally do it, and knee him the whole time.

Could she BE any more unreasonable? "This is ridiculous!" he cried. "You bring me into your room, and then you treat me like THIS??"

"I brought you here so you wouldn't get yourself killed. Obviously I shouldn't have worried." She turned from him, her back to him now. What an idiot. How could she ever have worried about him or even cared for him at all. She could feel her chest constrict in anger and hate. She'd never hated anyone as much as she did right now.

"Are you sure you don't WANT me to get myself killed?" he asked, raising his voice. She didn't even care. That thought, of course, raised a question in turn: did he ever really care about her? Did she even MEAN anything to him?

She scoffed in annoyance at the comment. Of COURSE she wanted him to get himself killed. She wanted nothing more then to never be around him for the rest of her life. "Please do. In fact, I'd love to kill you myself."

He sniffed and raised his chin, placing a hand on his hip. "I wouldn't DREAM of giving you such an honor," he said, pointing at her across the room.

"...." She turned around and leaned closer on her hands and knees. "Are you crying?"

"You wouldn't be worth the tears," he said coldly.

"You cry at everything. Pansy." She replied. God he was an annoying little rich brat.

"At least it proves that I have a heart," he countered. Sometimes he had to wonder if she cared about anything at all.

"ARE YOU SAYING I DON'T!?!" She screamed. Oh now she was pissed in earnest, event or no event he called her heartless.

"Well," he said with a shrug. "One can't help but wonder."

THAT WAS IT! She took up the first thing she could find, the pillow he had been sleeping on, and threw it at him. "I have a heart you moron, you're just not in it!"

"Is--" he paused to pull the pillow off his face. "Is ANYONE, then?" he yelled. He looked around for something to fling back, grumbling angrily as he did so. "Stubborn, thick-headed, ugly gir--" Hmm...the only thing within range was Beary, and he certainly wouldn't throw such a personal thing at HER...So he settled for the pillow again. Hurhur. He threw it at her as hard as he could.

Haruhi wasn't a very strong girl. She actually got knocked back on her back from the throw when the pillow hit her. It caused her to sputter. "ANYONE BUT YOU!" And the pillow got thrown back.

"I pity the ones you do let in," he spat as he hurled it back, wanting to try to knock her over again. "No doubt you treat them with a sizable amount of disrespect, ungrateful girl."

"Pity them all you want, you'll never be in there. You're such a stupid man, you can't even figure out the house without me." And she hurled it back, wanting him to hit something pointy.

He pulled the pillow off his face again and glared at her. "This isn't worth my time. ...Come to think of it, I'm starting to think you never were."

"You're the one who dragged me into all these messes."

For a moment he just stood there, his eyes blazing with hatred. Then he tossed the pillow aside. "Would you like me to leave?" he hissed.

She lay back, not even glancing his way. No, she wouldn't give him the time of day. "Like I care what you do. Just stay out of my sight."

"That is the only favor I will grant you, then." With that, he grabbed his mother's picture and his bear and stormed out of the room in a great huff.

Well, good thing that idiot was gone. She could go back to reading like she enjoyed. Maybe she'd go have a good long ENJOYABLE chat with the red queen!
