Summary: Alice has invited everyone, Reals and Mirrors alike, to come color outside in the nice spring weather with magic chalk. Surely nothing could go wrong with that plan, right?
The Story:

Outside, the weather is absolutely beautiful. It's not too hot, but not too cold either, and no one would have ever realized there was snow on the ground yesterday if they hadn't been here to see it. The grass is green and everything is dry - no sign of melted snow anywhere at all. Flowers have begun to bloom and it truly looks as though it's been spring for some time already. The season has changed abruptly and now Wonderland's decided it's time for it to be nice out.

There are many paths through the gardens, the vendors, and the hedge maze that can be drawn on, but as Alice demonstrated in her post, there's no need at all to stick to pavement only. Even the air can be decorated with living drawings!

This is a log for people who want to come color outside or people who want to check out what others are doing out here. It isn't strictly to interact with Alice, but she'll be around and will have a top level.

[More specifically, she's trying to fix him, but she knows he doesn't see it that way.]

Is that why you sent that relic soldier to come spy on me? [ he's not a fan of that so-called Captain America. Intensely not a fan. ]

[Her eyebrow raises curiously.]

I didn't ask Steve to do anything. That mistrust you earned all on your own when you killed Claire Fraser.

[ he rolls his good eye. ]

Again with that woman? What happened to her was an extended rest from which she's long recovered. A woman of her age ought to be thankful.

Death is death. You don't get to dictate how traumatic one may find it.

[Not that she's ... ever experienced one in Wonderland, but she has died before. At least twice.]

And I'd be careful what comments you make about women of a certain age. We tend to take those personally.

She let Peggy Carter trick her into falling for a scheme. If anyone's to blame, it's her. She orchestrated the entire incident. It was also months ago. That woman was the only one who came to harm.

[Largely because he doesn't count the vampires as people who count, and because Freya's kept him locked away for so long. But really, those parts are just semantics.]

I think you'll find that people don't get over things that quickly. Especially when they're not entirely certain the punishment fits the crime.

[Aka, things could have been a lot worse for you if Freya hadn't stepped in the way.]

It didn't. Being gored by savage beasts is far worse than anything she endured.

[as if she'll ever understand.]

I was referring more to the me keeping you in my closet part. I don't know if anyone else knows about what my brother and Jessica did to you.

[And she moves to go sit in a nearby chair.]

Unless you've told them, of course.

I'll tell as many people as I can. What happened to me is an injustice.

[And so is the fact that almost nobody cares when he has spoken about it.]

This arrangement fluctuates between purgatory and hell. By design, I'm sure.

You tortured them first. Possibly even killed them, I never did ask them how far you got.

[She doesn't really see it as an injustice.]

Personally I think it was more an eye for an eye.

The girl took a bite out of me long before I touched her. When I captured her, she was in the middle of attacking me a second time. The only aggressions came from your side.

I had more important concerns before I was pulled into this ridiculousness.

Like what? What have you been searching for?

[Oh, he hadn't realized she was so keen on ending this conversation. He sits back, mouth closing firmly.

No, witch. He's still not going to tell you the big secrets. ]

[She smirks.]

Fine. Suit yourself. I'll find out eventually.

How's that been going for you, by the by? It seems like we've been having those sessions of yours for quite a long time now. I thought you were supposed to be good at this.

[deathlessness]

I am good at it. That's why your entire memory hasn't been washed away, and you haven't lost fundamental aspects of your personality.

[So be grateful your brain is still intact.]

[hypoxic]

[ he scoffs in open disbelief. ]

Don't pretend that isn't exactly your goal. Like you aren't talking about having me "fixed" like a neutered puppy.

[deathlessness]

If you choose to see it that way, then by all means. But a conscience is worth more than you give it credit for.

[hypoxic]

[That's the sort of thing his mum used to say.]

You wish to weaken me. Strength comes from resolve. And you will not rob me of mine.

Nor will you of mine.

[She smirks.]

Guess we'll just have to see which one is stronger.

It's hardly fair when you insist on keeping me unconscious through most of it. How much longer do you intend for this to go on?

[deathlessness]

Until we find the solution. I'm not one to give up until I get what I want.
