Where: Anywhere outside on Real Side, but mostly in the gardens!

Summary: Alice has invited everyone, Reals and Mirrors alike, to come color outside in the nice spring weather with magic chalk. Surely nothing could go wrong with that plan, right?
The Story:

Outside, the weather is absolutely beautiful. It's not too hot, but not too cold either, and no one would have ever realized there was snow on the ground yesterday if they hadn't been here to see it. The grass is green and everything is dry - no sign of melted snow anywhere at all. Flowers have begun to bloom and it truly looks as though it's been spring for some time already. The season has changed abruptly and now Wonderland's decided it's time for it to be nice out.

There are many paths through the gardens, the vendors, and the hedge maze that can be drawn on, but as Alice demonstrated in her post, there's no need at all to stick to pavement only. Even the air can be decorated with living drawings!

This is a log for people who want to come color outside or people who want to check out what others are doing out here. It isn't strictly to interact with Alice, but she'll be around and will have a top level.

[She nearly sing-songs, all smiles, definitely teasing rather than malicious. It's probably a joke. She'll PROBABLY help regardless. And it's not like Dipper is in mortal peril anyway. This is fine! Definitely!]

I mean, they might come for you next...

[Dipper's not about to beg or anything. He's too busy being tough and self reliant and--

That's a yelp as a five gets into his shoe and bites down on his toe. How do fives bite? Did Dipper draw it with teeth? Don't ask. It's better not to know some things.]

I'd like to see them try. Fine, fine...

[M'Lapis seems to relish the prospect of putting these treacherous characters in their place should they come after her, actually. But she does also like showing off in general. So, although she would have liked the begging, she'll get on with it. Namely, she spreads her waterwings and becomes an avatar of chalkly doom, effortlessly sweeping away any drawings that dare draw near her. Which they don't. Off to the side, a six glances nervously at a seven and then books it.

But if the offending creatures are already so entrenched in Dipper's personal space, M'Lapis will have to do more to save him, which is why she proceeds to just deck him with a wing. Y'know, gently! Again, it's fine; M'Lapis has too much control to hurt someone by accident, and those things probably behave like regular water in many ways, so let's not think too hard about the details.]

[krmvgivv]

[Dipper, of course, was not prepared, and he gasps and coughs as water immediately goes up his nose.] ...thanks....

[sslillappy]

[M'Lapis smiles brightly.] You're welcome! But you really should be more careful, you know. All kinds of innocent-looking things can be dangerous around here.

[krmvgivv]

Yeah, that's not unique to here.

[He frowns because she's being all cutesy and innocent-looking herself and it feels like it could be a warning. Good thing he's never fully stopped being paranoid.

But he'd rather at least give her the benefit of the doubt. She might clearly be Lapis' mirror with all the smiling and giggling, but that doesn't necessarily mean she's bad. He hopes.]

So have you, uh, drawn anything?

Welllll, I did earlier, but not like this. [That's indicating the weird magic chalky fun all around.] I have to admit, it's a little sad.

[krmvgivv]

It's magic chalk. What's so sad about that?

For one thing, it doesn't work like this everywhere. Don't you think that's a bit unfair?

[krmvgivv]

I mean, considering how hard the White Queen burned herself out last time, and considering you can come over here, not really? Nothing's stopping you from drawing something right now.

[He shifts over to some dry pavement and offers her a piece of chalk.]

[He's very casual about her Mirrorhood, and after she was at least indirect about it. The downside is always that if someone realizes independently that she's the Mirror then they must be familiar with her Real. But hey, apparently he doesn't care enough to bring it up, and M'Lapis appreciates that. Not bad.

Anyway, she accepts the chalk gladly, but otherwise makes no move to join him.]

That's the other tragedy. I'm afraid I... [She affects theatrical drama.] ...ran out. [Then brightens back up, holding up the one piece of chalk.] So thanks!
