Summary: Alice has invited everyone, Reals and Mirrors alike, to come color outside in the nice spring weather with magic chalk. Surely nothing could go wrong with that plan, right?
The Story:

Outside, the weather is absolutely beautiful. It's not too hot, but not too cold either, and no one would have ever realized there was snow on the ground yesterday if they hadn't been here to see it. The grass is green and everything is dry - no sign of melted snow anywhere at all. Flowers have begun to bloom and it truly looks as though it's been spring for some time already. The season has changed abruptly and now Wonderland's decided it's time for it to be nice out.

There are many paths through the gardens, the vendors, and the hedge maze that can be drawn on, but as Alice demonstrated in her post, there's no need at all to stick to pavement only. Even the air can be decorated with living drawings!

This is a log for people who want to come color outside or people who want to check out what others are doing out here. It isn't strictly to interact with Alice, but she'll be around and will have a top level.

[Cisco is kind of pleased as punch about this event; it's so rare that they are ever nice, simple things instead of something specifically designed with the intent to hurt or place them all in peril. The Mirrors being onside is a little unnerving, but he hopes that the freedom they're being allotted for however long this event lasts won't be too terribly misused.

For now? He's trying his best to assume no one is here to cause problems and just enjoying the spring-like weather and the magic chalk.

He's wandering when he finds a familiar face, smiling a bit, not instantly realizing it's her Mirror.]

Hey, Entrapta. [He gives a little wave.] I would've loved to find this chalk when I was a kid. [Who's he kidding? He loves that it's existing in his grasp right this second, too.]

[The Mirror lifts her visor with a bit of her hair so she can look at Cisco. She seems uncertain for a second, but then nods and looks down at her current creation.]

It's um. It's fun. We don't normally get to do things like this.

Right, it is. We- oh. Are you a mirror? [He sounds pleasant enough with that question it won't be offensive.] Do you go by something else? I know some of the others have before.

[Still, she seems harmless enough so far, so instead of something dramatic or drastic, he kneels down next to one of her drawings.] What's this guy supposed to do?

[She nods a little.]

Just Entrapta...I couldn't really think of anything else.

[She hopes that's not that confusing.

Looking down at the drawing he's referring to she points to its oversized hands, which really look more like pincers. She speaks a bit slowly, as though struggling to explain.]

His job is holding things. Like um...like tools, so they're ready when you need them.

Nothing wrong with that. [He shrugs a little.

This Mirror is noticeably different from her counterpart if Cisco's few handful of interactions with Entrapta are anything to run off of, as soon as she starts explaining things. But then, he supposes, not every mirror has to be an evil reflection of their Real.]

Sounds like a handy guy to have around.

Yeah!

[She smiles brightly, pleased that he likes her idea.]

He's a little lopsided but...I don't think he'll mind.

[She finishes sketching him in with a few lines and the robot lifts off the ground to stand in front of them. It's more than a little lopsided and it really doesn't look like it's going to be able to move easily because of it.]

[Cisco wonders if the chalk creations even actually have emotions, but he keeps it to himself-- it was a weird topic by any standards, and probably not the kind of ethical-moral debate he wanted to get into right now anyway.]

Being lopsided just gives him personality. [He says with a grin.]

[She seems quite pleased with that conclusion and gestures for the robot to join the others to the side. She watches it struggle over there, then starts to draw another one.]

You're um. You're her friend, right? On this side?

[Cisco wonders if the Entrapta of "this side" considers them such, but he doesn't let that thought make him waver in his response as he sits down with her and starts sketching what eventually becomes a teddy bear that wanders over to where he can make more chalk-friends.]

Yeah, I think so. We've talked a bit, and she's keeping me filled in on the research she's conducting.

She's really something.

[She sounds wistful, as though aware she'll never live up to the Real thing.]

I think she's happy, too. To have friends here.

Friends are pretty great to have around. [He nods in agreement.] Do you have some, on the other side?

Oh...no, not really. I've been busy helping and I haven't been feeling well.

[She doodles a bit as she speaks, though not anything in particular.]

Helping with what? [He asks, curious.] Aw, that sucks... [But is also confusing, as people don't really... get sick in Wonderland, and it stands to argue that mirrors don't, either.]

Helping Entrapta. I have to make a cord go from the basement to the Core.

[It's taking a long time, because it's such a long way. She has to constantly get more cord and plug them into each other.]

Um...it's okay though. I just don't feel good from getting too close. See?

[She takes one of her gloves off and holds out her hand. It looks like it's about to start...unraveling is really the only good word for it. She puts her glove back on quickly.]

To the Core? [His eyebrows arch at that. He knew that Entrapta and Peridot were both working toward some pretty radical things, but he didn't know just how they were going about it.]

Damn... [He frowns a little when she shows him her hand.] Are you sure you're gonna be okay? [Look, he met her five minutes ago, but she seems so sweet and innocent and being collateral damage in Wonderland experimentation is a place no one should have to call their own.]

Oh yes. They're going to try to talk to it.

[She sounds like she has complete confidence in Entrapta and Peridot's ability to accomplish this goal. Mainly because Entrapta has made it sound like it's definitely happening no matter what.]

I think so! I think um. I think the Queen will help if it gets worse.

I hope it works out for them. [It would be great for everyone if they managed to get something substantial.] And I hope it doesn't get worse for you, either.

[She smiles brightly at the show of concern for her.]

I'm sure I'll be fine!
