+ It's All About Balance +
Who: Everyone!
Where: Mansion + Grounds
When: May 11-14
Rating: Will likely have violence and death; use content warnings at your discretion.
Summary: Someone or something is looking for Infinity Stones in Wonderland.
The Story:
This will be your main log for fighting aliens, reacting to the Snap, and any fall out. The top level for days 1 & 2 are up now, and the top levels for the Snap and the aftermath will go up late on the 12th. Hopefully, the reason for this will make sense once they’re posted!
Feel free to refer to the plotting post for more details!

Don't move. Your body may be trying to fix itself around my sutures, but there was still quite a bit of damage. You need to rest.
[ She looks run down, no longer moving with the energy she had been.
It's also a whole lot quieter. ]

It takes a few minutes for the change in the room to fully sink in. The realisation of it dawns over the demon's face like clouds breaking and he frowns, turning his head.]
Claire? What in Heaven's name is going on?

From what I've been able to put together, it--the event, when it ended, half of the residents here disappeared. I don't--maybe they didn't die, I don't know. But they aren't here and neither are their bodies.
[ Claire finishes checking over his sutures before wetting her lips, looking at him. ]
They turned to ash.
[ So, probably dead then. ]

[There doesn't seem to be much more to say to that. Crowley falls uncharacteristically silent, his attention sliding offside and a small frown furrowing his brows together. Vanished? Like ash?
That's a new one. For Wonderland, anyway.
He can't just sit still, not after she told him that. A flat palm is pressed to his stomach as he sits up regardless of any protest on her part, and he barely winces with the effort. He might have been badly damaged, but he's no human, and the power inhabiting this body wants to keep it alive.]
Wonderful. Now what?

I don't know. The aliens disappeared when everyone else did, and now--
[ She just looks out at the now sparsely populated area. ]
--I don't know, Crowley.
[ Claire hates this, crossing her arms around herself protectively. ]

Instead, he frowns deeply up at the ceiling.]
I've seen something like this before... Only, the first time, it involved a lot of water. The second time was this whole Egyptian thing, but that one was really specific. [Hmmm.]
No broadcast from one of our kindly hosts?

[ She's buried the lead here.
It doesn't matter as much to her as her husband and daughter dying in the same moment. ]

[Just try to keep him on his back this time, Claire. No, he's sitting up and he's not going to be stopped, and to hell with the discomfort in his stomach as he does so.
Crowley wasn't in Wonderland the first time the Jabberwocky was here, but that doesn't mean he doesn't know anything about it.]
Was she ever the White Queen?
