Summary: Open log for the Persona 4 event! Everyone is spending some time as students and instructors at Yasogami High School in Inaba, Japan.
The Story:
For the weekend, everyone is either a teacher or a student at a Japanese high school. Enjoy Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and look forward to exams on Monday.

[Wirt startles - he hadn't even realized someone was watching him, and doesn't seem to notice her until she's talking to him.]

H-Huh? Oh...right. Y-Yeah, I'm. I'm studying.

[That feels so stupid to say when he doesn't feel like he's been studying very well.]

[entreats]

[ Not even a muscle moves in Ange's face even as Wirt obviously seems startled. Either she's used to that kind of reaction (it happens when you're quiet) or she just doesn't really care either way. ]

Can't really bring yourself to do it, huh? [ She's onto the only-kind-of-studying thing going on here, even though she's projecting her own reasons onto it. ] I get it. It's usually pretty boring.

[singloversing]

[Wirt's a little alarmed that he's so easy to see through, but then he gives up the charade almost immediately.]

Yeah...plus, it feels kind of pointless? I'm totally going to fail anyway, so why am I even trying?!

[Exam stress may be getting to him a little bit.]

[entreats]

Right.

[ She may be the worst possible person to talk to in this sort of situation. Even talking to a teacher might be better in this situation, since they might offer some encouraging words.

Ange, however, is just another student tired of school life, so there's none of that here. Nihilism all the way down. ]

Just do something fun instead. Old people would tell you you're wasting your youth.

[singloversing]

I mean, maybe...but what if I like, fail everything and don't get into a good college and totally ruin my life?

[He says this as though it's incredibly likely, and not at all just catastrophizing the situation at hand.]

[entreats]

[ Poor Wirt. He actually has some pretty legitimate concerns there, but Ange has been made cynical enough by the world that she doesn't seem worried about it herself in the slightest. ]

A lot of people who do make it into good colleges end up going nowhere with their life. [ HOW IS THAT SUPPOSED TO CHEER HIM UP, ANGE... ] It's all just about luck and connections nowadays.

[singloversing]

[Wirt, thankfully, is starting to catch on that this isn't...really that helpful. He makes a bit of a face.]

But then, if it's really like that, then wouldn't that mean nothing matters at all? Why bother trying at anything?

[entreats]

Good question.

[ .. a statement that should probably be followed up by an actual answer to said question, but instead Ange just drops a Meaningful silence instead as she stands there. You know, to imply that there is indeed no point in trying. Exactly the kind of thoughts she should pass on to other students, right.

On the other hand, there is a slight smile on her face.. So it's hard to tell how serious she is or isn't. ]
