Who: EVERYONE
Where: EVERYWHERE
When: 9/14 - 9/21
Rating: PG-13, warn if going higher.
Summary: The Jabberwock is loose, and seemingly unstoppable, and her Majesty the Red Queen is nowhere to be found! Will you take up arms against the monster? Will you rush to the aid of others? Or will you need that aid yourself, as something much more powerful has also escaped?
The Story:
The Jabberwocky’s roar can be heard all across Wonderland, and the Red Queen is nowhere to be found.
However! Wonderland has scattered help across the mansion! Hidden in various places are duplicates of the Vorpal Weapons, ready to aid anyone who finds them in staying alive and uneaten as long as possible.
The mirror boundaries have shattered, leaving glass scattered everywhere, and Mirrors able to cross over as they like. But something else has crossed over with them - the entire contents of the Core are slinking around, waiting to snatch the memories of someone unfortunate enough to open up its hiding place.

"That's horrible. You... you had to fight that monster, all by yourself, forever? ...Why? Why couldn't you have any subjects? Anyone to help you... at all?"

"It's just the way it was," she eventually says, waving the pale image away. "I was the best fighter, so I was the one who would wield the sword. My sisters had their titles and I had mine."
For a moment, it seems as though she might explain her crimes, or exactly how she got from point A to point B, but she pivots away from that point.
"Wonderland has a particular structure - a sort of balance it requires to maintain itself," she says. "If things aren't where they ought to be, things become chaotic rather quickly."

"Then... there has to be another way. Some other way to balance it, so that things don't have to be so - so bad!" He raises his arms and poses as he goes on. "Like when your phone doesn't get any bars, and you have to try out all kinds of poses to get just right amount of signal? ...I... I think Wonderland needs a new pose!"

She's not sure she understands what he means about phones, but the logic makes an alarming amount of sense, in a Wonderland sort of way. When the rules don't work, change the rules.
"I suppose there isn't anything left to lose," she says. "Except all three kingdoms and the heads of everyone in Wonderland."
Was that a joke? It may have been, in fact, a joke. She has a small shadow of a smile.
"Nothing has ever changed by following the rules," she adds. "Never. Not even once."

He softly nods in response to the Queen.
"Rules are nice to have and all, but not if it's screwing things up and making you miserable. That's why we have to work to change things, and make it so that as many people as possible can have chances to be happy!"
