[INCOMPLETE] Linda got runover by Binky and four distracted elves
Who: Linda and the elves (guest appearance by Death!)
Where: Somwhere. Outside. In the snow.
When: The night of December 19
Rating: PG for "ohshi-- *THUD*"
Summary: Binky is a good horse. He listens to the driver. He can go through solid objects. Without instruction, though, the sleigh can't. RUN LINDA RUN.
the Story:
The grim reaper patted Binky's muzzle as he stood in the snow. Tonight was going to be the elves' easiest task. After the ordeals with Alice and Vexen, they deserved an easy task.
IT'S QUITE SIMPLE REALLY. HERE IS THE ONE HORSE OPEN SLEIGH. KITE HAS THE BELLS. THEY JINGLE. MAKE NO MISTAKE, THIS TASK IS VERY IMPORTANT. DON'T ROLL YOUR EYES AT ME JAY--- WELL YOU WERE THINKING OF ROLLING YOUR EYES, WEREN'T YOU? AS I WAS SAYING, THIS JOB IS A SMALL ONE, BUT CHRISTMAS REQUIRES IT.
I SHALL BE BACK IN TWO HOURS. I MUST DECK THE HALLS WITH BOUGHS OF HOLLY. I SAID DON'T ROLL YOUR EYES, JAY, OR YOU WILL GET NO CHESTNUTS ROASTED ON AN OPEN FIRE.
GOOD. HO. HO. HO.
Death didn't so much disappear as he did exist someone else. It looks quite odd, especially if you squint, but the four assistants should be used to it by now.

But his files said it would be best to follow Death's orders anyway, so he just went along with it. Death hadn't given him any reason not to trust him, so it wasn't like it was going to cause too much harm.
"Ahh, so...?" the Azure Flame mumbled. "Get it over with?"

As for the next issue, Jay glanced at the sleigh. It couldn't be more complicated than a tram or boat, could it? No, not at all.
"Who's going to drive?" he asked politely. It was all false, however, as the tone in his voice implied he would.

"... Very well," he finally agreed, looking hardly pleased about it. The second anything went wrong, however, he would insist on taking the reins. No matter how much Sora pouted. With that thought in mind, Jay hopped in the sleigh, nonchalantly taking the seat directly next to Sora.
"Let's just hurry this up and get back inside," he frowned.

He savoured the grumpy look on Jay's face as he climbed into the sleigh, taking the back seat behind Sora. Having one's boyfriend as a co-driver to a sleigh probably wasn't in the best of ideas, but Roxas supposed that he couldn't deprive Jay of everything. Kite and him would just have to keep an eye out.
"Yes sir," Roxas muttered, leaning back in his chair with an irritated look on his face.

The AI experimentally jingled the bells a little. They sounded nice, his files stated.

"Don't worry, Kite. As long as Sora's driving, we're in good hands."

Not that he would admit he was pouting. Ever.

Seeing the lights from the windows shine down on the snow made Linda ecstatic. Everyone seemed so happy during this season. And since everyone had been so nice to her, Linda was determined to pay them back. She had a few presents planned out, but nothing was ready yet. And it was almost Christmas!
“Okay!” Linda clapped her numb hands together, determination in her eyes, “First, what Linda’s going to do is-“
A loud noise from behind caused Linda to turn in alarm.

But Kite did notice the familiar figure walking up ahead of them. Directly in the way of their path. And both their drivers were too preoccupied to notice.
Checking his files, Kite concluded that this was bad.
Dropping his cluster of bells, he pointed ahead and gave a shout of "Ah, watch out!" far too late.
