COMPLETE. Leon & Ada
Who: Leon S. Kennedy (
knifexgun) and Ada Wong (
herassignment)
Where Foyer
When: 12/26
Rating: PG-13 at the very most
Summary: A certain female spy and a certain secret agent meet in the foyer. And there's mistletoe still around. Oh my~
the Story:
Christmas had been fun for Leon. He was surprised to get so many gifts (well, he was happy enough to get anything, really. Even that niceand free knife Krauser stabbed into his door), especially the notebook Harry gave him.
He read it quite thoroughly last night, recalling what Walter and Heather have said about that cult in Silent Hill before, and what he himself has seen and encountered in this place before.
Saddler would never be that insane, and the agent already thought he was pretty insane.
Leon almost felt bad for thinking he had it better off. Still, he wondered if he should talk about it to Harry or Heather sometime later. But not Walter. He really wasn't sure what to say to Walter (except maybe "I'm sorry." But that was dumb. And he can't change the past anyway).
Leon wasn't sure. He had to think about this.
But first, he needed something to drink. The apple juice from Luis was cute, but it didn't really meet demands for the moment. Hot cocoa sounded better, which was why Leon was heading down the stairs, into the foyer.

"Ada," he responded simply. "What's up? Feeling better, I see." Though he already knew that. He watched over her, after all.

But Leon wasn't the only one who felt awkward about the conversation. They rarely had the chance for idle conversation before, and within good reason, but now that they no longer were restricted by duty, well... The man took a few steps closer, shoving his hands into his jeans pockets out of nervous habit. "I hope you were okay with what I got you though."

If this sort of
shyinattentiveness happened while he was rescuing Ashley, he would've been dead for sure. What the hell kind of effect did this woman have?Leon rubbed the back of his neck. "Really?" He felt like a boy again, clueless and a little naive.
Maybe some things never changed, no matter how much older they both got.
"All right then. Hopefully we can have it when the place isn't burning down again." That happened too often for it's own good.

"We don't often spend time making idle chit-chat. Cut me some slack here." Leon chuckled, placing his hands on his hips.
"Wanna grab something to drink? I was on my way to get some hot cocoa, actually."

"Okay then. Right this way, darling," Leon smiled, quite amused himself, offering his arm for her to hold before starting to walk toward the kitchen again.
He didn't have a clue of what Ada was planning (though that was pretty normal too).

"Of course." Leon wasn't aware. He figured Ada was just looking around. The Christmas decorations were rather nice and something to be admired.
And, well.
He enjoyed having Ada in such close proximity. Definitely a plus.
It was...nice. To be able to be this close again.

"Is something wrong?" He turned toward Ada, meeting her eyes with his own.

Hey wait, wasn't that-
But then he felt her lips on his. It became clear, somehow. Still, he looked surprised again (that was becoming quite a common look for him to wear), he looked surprised, and he didn't say a word either. The poor words were stuck in his throat.
But, Leon sort of cracked a little smile. Did he really have to say anything? It was written on his face.
Placing his hands on Ada's shoulders, he moved in and kissed her back.

When he pulled away, he really isn't sure what to say still. Except, "Merry Christmas, Ada," he said in a quiet voice.

Subtle on his face, but still ever so clear.
