KARAOKE PARTY!
Who: Linda, Kite, everyone else in the mansion who wants to come.
Where The Dining Room
When: Saturday Night, January 12th
Rating: PG. At most, PG 13.
Summary: Linda has been talking about a Karaoke Party with Kite for weeks now, and finally it’s a reality.
the Story:
The sky was darkening, and soon it would be night. It was almost time. Time for the party.
Linda had to thank the mansion. Over the past weeks, it had been giving her CD after CD and eventually a karaoke machine itself. By now, the musical collection for tonight was well into the thousands, containing any song that anyone ever might even think to sing. She was excited. No one would be left out because they lacked a song. In fact, no one would be left out. Or else.
Spinning about the dining room, a trail of confetti flying about behind her, Linda danced to the music in her head while finishing her decorations. Bowls of food and snacks lined the tables along the sides of room while a massive stage took up the back wall. All of which were now covered in a coat of confetti. The room seemed to sparkle, almost as if it wished to join in the party as well.
“Kite!” Linda called, “Kite! It’s like, almost totally time! We’ve got to like, totally greet everyone and stuff!”

And it was his turn again (why did Linda have to have such short lines?!), and now she was kinda grabbing his arm and swaying or something. Fortunately he had stopped floating when the song started, otherwise that would have been even more awkward.
"Tra in mind, have you ever seen a won world?" he sang the chorus with Linda, then--oh, of course, more lines for him. " Meeting daily or more, it's a mystery! We enter a world of adtures."
Still no signs of horrible pain in the audience... this was good, right?

”If there's only one truth in the end, we will find the answer,” the girl sang, wanting this song to last. She and Kite had to do this again. Totally.

It was almost over now, wasn't it? Just some more of the chorus... "Travel in mind, have you er seen a wonderful world?"

However after a few moments, Linda found that she couldn’t contain herself and burst into a giggle fit. Still laughing, she placed the microphone down for the next person, and leapt off the stage.
Once Kite was off the stage, she began, “Kite, thank you so totally much for that. It was so much fun!”

Linda was happy as ever, though, so that was good enough. He liked it when people were happy. Kite smiled. "Ah, you're welcome," he said.
Maybe it wasn't so bad...

After a moment, the girl backed off giggling awkwardly, and then quickly changed the subject.
“What do you want to? ‘Cause like, Linda already made you have to sing and stuff, so it’s totally your turn!”

"Nnn, it's fine," he said, shaking his head. "It was... fun. And I'm not that interesting." He was still kind of working on definition of 'fun', and for some reason he didn't think Linda would want to wander around the mansion scanning for AIDA like he normally did.
