Summary: The twins have changed genders like everyone else. They decide to go to the beach and to go shopping.
the Story:

Subaru was getting more used to this strange body. After the initial panic and denial she realized this wasn't that bad. At least this time they weren't being attacked by zombies so she supposed this was alright in comparison. Even wearing a dress wasn't that bad.
She walks on the sand together with her twin, their feet bare. They went to the beach almost everyday, although this time she wasn't planning on swimming at the ocean. As if she would expose this body like that. Even if she was kinda accepting this, she was still too self conscious about her female body.

"It does?" She smiles happily as she follows her sister back into the beach. "Subaru, can you help me pin up by hair? I don't want it to get wet."

She smiles and nods. "Alright" She takes some of the hair pins they had bought and starts pinning Kamui's hair up in a bun. "Isn't it too heavy, though?"

She waits as Subaru pins her hair up, then moves her head a bit. "A little. But I'll manage." She gets up. "You sure you don't want to swim too?"

She frowns a bit. She wanted to swim but she still felt too shy in this body "But what if...someone shows up?"

"We'll just hide in the water till they go away."

"Hm...ok then" She gets up and takes her hat off. She starts walking towards the water, shying a bit when the cold waves hit her feet.

She takes Subaru's hand and leads her slowly into the water.

She shudders a bit with cold but her body soon gets used to the temperature. She swims a bit, leisurely, a smile on her face. She loved water, even if she had spent three years sleeping underwater. Or maybe it was because of that.

Kamui smiles back and swims around as well, then she dives, forgetting that she doesn't want to get her hair wet.

She blinks when she dives and dives after her.

I thought you didn't want to wet your hair? Oh well, I'll help you take care of it later

Huh? Oh, right. Forgot. But I like diving. See the water's so clear!

She smiles and nods.

Yes, it's really beautiful
There were some corals at the bottom of the ocean. Even if there weren't many fish, the clear waters were still pretty, with the sunlight hitting them.

She dives down to the coral and spots a starfish and picks it up carefully, never having seen up up close before.

She appraoches her and looks curiously at the starfish, touching it with a finger.

It feels funny. It's hard to believe it's a living being with that odd shape

Mn. It's so soft and squishy. It's cute though. I wonder if it can be kept as a pet. We can put it in the tank with the goldfish we caught during that festival.

Hm I doubt we can. Those fishes live in normal water, but this would need sea water. Besides we don't know what it eats. And it's used to live in the bottom of the ocean. I doubt it would survive

I see. She looks down at it, then puts it down. I don't want it to die. She swims a little further to explore more.

She follows her, looking around curiously. She catches some sea shells lying at the bottom of the ocean and then wims up to the surface.

She swims around for a while longer then follows Subaru to the surface, frowning a bit at how much heavier her hair is now that it's completely soaked. She starts removing the pins from her hair.

She smiles and helps her remove the pins, holding them with her free hand. "Do you want to go back? It will take a while to care for your hair"

"Okay." She shakes her hair loose and starts moving back towards the beach.

She follows and they're soon back on the sand. She puts the hairpins and seashells away and starts drying herself with the towel.

She dries herself was well then sits down on her towel.

She looks down at her, while putting on her dress "Aren't you going to get dressed?"

"Mn? Mn. I just wanted to watch the sea for a while." Then she shivers slightly at a light breeze and gets up to get dressed.
