Where A kitchen

Rating: G, PG? Watch your mouth, Badou.
Summary: Badou and Nill have a cooking adventure.
the Story:

She wasn’t going over to their room for any reason in particular. Usually it was to see Haine, sometimes to see Badou, but to be honest, visiting either of them made her happy. Nill wondered if she was going to be in trouble for coming over without asking, but she didn’t think so. She knocked lightly on the door to their room, testing the door knob before peeking inside. At first she thought there was no one in there, but she smiled when she spotted Badou in the room. No Haine? That was alright, she hoped that wherever he was right now that he was having fun. Or just…not mad at anything. Since only Badou was here, now seemed like a good time to take that tour of the mansion. She wanted to fine something fun to do. Making new friends was a thrilling experience in and of itself, but she was beginning to get a bit restless.

Nill practically bounced across the room, grabbing Badou’s hand eagerly. Come on, come on, no more sitting around. She flashed him a grin, fingers tapping eagerly against his arm, quickly spelling out ‘E-X-P-L-O-R-E’ in shaky lettering. She wasn’t really sure what she wanted to do, but Badou usually thought of fun things. (Right?) If he didn’t get a move on, it was likely she’d tug his arm right out of the socket.

Badou was bored, seriously. There were no jobs here, and he was smoking and drinking more than usual. Their room probably reeked, mostly his fault, but he'd never take the entire blame. He was just lounging around, being the lazy guy he was, when he saw Nill come towards him. It didn't take him too long to realize she wanted something from him, and that required getting his bottom off Haine's couch.

He adjusted the cigarette between his lips. "Watcha' got on your mind, Nill?" He asked, letting himself get pulled along.

When he finally understood, he shrugged. "Alright, but not for too long, Haine might end up thinking you got kidnapped." The guy seriously could be too paranoid beyond belief, not that Badou didn't see it as too excessive, Haine had his reasons.

Badou never took the time to fully explore this, which was kind of surprising. For awhile he believed he'd be here for only a bit, but he had been here for a well over a month now. Guess denial wasn't working, and he would have to start getting used to this place.

Badou almost laughed, whatever was going through her head, it must have been amusing. He was basically being pulled around like a little girl's doll, but he didn't mind so much for now. He even laughed, he could see her doing this to Haine, and that caused an even louder outburst. Haine probably be so confused, and probably have his gun out. Probably shoot at some random shadow, that would ahve been hilarious. Luckily for Nill, Badou was way more laid back and ready for anything that was thrown at him. He did have to learn such a thing with his previous job, nothing ever went as plan.

When she looked at him, he gave a smile and a nod. "Take me wherever you want, kiddo, it's up to you." Just not to that perverts room, please not his.

He almost tripped down the steps, but he kept up to her pace. 'Slow down there, we have plenty of time to explore." He pat her head, she really was like some little puppy.

When they reached the new and final floor, Badou noticed a sign. "Want to go in the kitchen, Nill?" He was hungry, and a nice cold beer wouldn't hurt either.

What she lacked in words, she made up for in expression. He forgot how excitable kids could be. He sort of missed being that happy over something little, like a bubble or something. Unless it was a cigarette, fuck he could so go for a fresh smoke right about now. The one between his lips was dwindling away, losing its freshness.

He didn't mind cooking when he was hungry, but he wasn't some iron chef. It was edible, and when you're hungry, you'll eat anything. Haine didn't bitch too much, but he wasn't really picky either.

Badou shrugged and decided to lead the way, not walking too far. "Here we are," He held the door open, and once she walked in, he let it closed behind them.
