Who: Sophie and Patchouli
Where Patchouli's room and then Sophie
When: The afternoon of the 13th
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Sophie scared her friend, so now they're moving in together.
the Story:
She'd never meant to scare the other woman. Really, it was supposed to be reassurance. All the same it'd only managed to scare her instead. The only thing for it was for her to not be alone. Which was fine with Sophie. She was used to living in a full and lively place. With Michael and Howl and Calcifer. Her room was honestly a bit lonely. She wanted to have comfort of her own. Even if the person she was used to was a complete and total selfish brat.
Actually, he wasn't completely selfish. He had his own way to care for others. Even when he was heartless he took care of Michael, and looked for Prince Justin, and let her stay with him. Even though she did seem to get everything wrong. She missed Howl a lot. Which was strange with him only a few floors up. She wasn't sure she'd ever get used to this whole people from other times thing.
By the time her thoughts on her own situation came to a close, or as near to one as she could manage, she was standing in front of Patchouli's door. Well, that was convenient. She brushed out her dress and knocked soundly, wondering if she looked presentable. She'd been trying to clean up the mess of books she had currently made. They had been in a messy pile in a corner and she had wanted to bully the mansion into giving her a second bed. Which had been surprisingly easy to do actually. So the books ended up in another pile next to her bed, with a few pictures plopped on top to make it seem as if they were supposed to be there all along. For now however, she folded her arms and waited for the answer.

"Thank you, again," she said to Sophie, standing almost completely still.

Sophie found that it suited herself quite nicely.
When the other girl opened the door she offered an sorry smile. "No, I'm sorry that I worried you."

"So... come in, Sophie..." She went back into the room.
