Summary:Sirius and Terra go on a very serious candlelit dinner on the beach
the Story:

Sirius made his way up the stairs to Terra's room as the first rays of sun started to disappear from the horizon. Evening dinner on the beach was what he had promised, and he refused to disappoint. Terra was an amazing girl. Something he had known when he had started into this. They'd had a fantastic time when they had been drunk, and he had wanted to know more about her.

Then he discovered Beast Boy and his insencere feelings. How he had wanted to be with two people at once. Terra was worth more then that and anyone who treated her as someone that insignificant should be hanged. Or at least petrified for a good three months. That was how this had started at least. Now he wasn't quite sure where it was. He liked Terra. He wanted her to be amazingly happy, and he wanted to be able to be the person to make her happy. He just wasn't sure how. Still, he'd figure out how, and in the process they'd have fun.

When he arrived at her door he knocked lightly, adjusting his coat while he waited.

Sirius was starting on his next tower. He was getting better at it actually. This was was raised faster then the other.

"See?" She grinned at him. "Very easy." She'd finished her wall and moved around to get into the middle of all the towers to start on a big central building.

"I think I see why muggles like doing this. It's challenging." He was still concentrating hard as he tried to etch stonework into one of his towers. Really, he just wanted to see if he could.

Terra looked up at him as he spoke and realized that it had gotten a lot darker since they'd started on the castle. Also, she was hungry. "Hey, Sirius," she said. "You wanna eat and then we can finish this after?"

He looked up from his shakily carved door. "Sounds good to me." Pushing himself up off the sand he offered her his hand.

She took it and let him help her to her feet. She was sort of surprised at herself when she didn't let go, either. "Lead the way," she said, offering him a smile.

His fingers gave hers a little squeeze and he led her over to the table. It was very carefully arranged. The tablecloth was white and lacy and the plates had gold rims. The silverware looked fancy as well and the napkins were cloth. Off to the side there was a small grill that held the burgers inside. They were already grilled and staying perfectly warm because of magic. The other foods were also pre-cooked.

Once they arrived at the table he disentangled his hand from hers to pull out her chair for her with a smile.

"Thanks," she said, taking a seat and successfully stopping herself from blushing at all this time. She was getting better at this.

Terra was actually very impressed; Sirius had obviously put a lot of work into this. It was really kind of sweet. "So, hamburgers, yeah?" she asked.

He nodded, pulling the lid of the grill to reveal a few very nicely cooked burgers. "Would you like a roll or just the burger?" Sirius was actually pretty proud of what he's managed. He wasn't even sure that his magic was going to be let through here. Not completely at least, but it seemed things were working out nicely.

"Ooh, definitely a roll," Terra said, tucking a foot under her as she settled back in the chair.

Sirius tucked a burger into a roll and offered it to her. "There are condiment if you're interested." Indeed there were. A full array of them as well as toppings.

"Oh good." She started loading up her burger with mustard and ketchup and onions and lettuce and pickles and tomatoes. She caught herself very briefly wondering if she looked like a pig, or anything - and then decided that was a stupid thought, and balanced the top half of the bun on top of her burger.

It really was. Sirius thought it was cute ... and funny and proceeded to do the same to his own. He liked burgers. Probably not as much as she did, but they were tasty.
