Who: Patchouli, Saffron
Where: Somewhere in the halls.
When: About... after she posts.
Rating: HOPEFULLY no higher than PG-13
Summary: Patchouli gets a look at the situation...
the Story:

Patchouli looked over the hallway... so far, nothing was wrong. She tapped on the mirror a little. Same mirror that it always was. Nothing new here. She sighed. She knew where she had to go to do her job, but it was just not time yet...

She wandered down the halls -- quite an odd thing for Patchouli, if anyone knew anything about Patchouli. However, she walked around... just to check the status of things, see that nobody was causing trouble. Patchouli really didn't look like she was about to head into enemy territory or anything, despite being armed with a large scythe that appeared to be made of ice, given its color and how cold to touch it was, yet it showed no signs of deterioration, even though, given the current weather, a scythe of solid ice should melt quickly enough. She was dressed a little excessively, for someone who wanted to go to the other side.

Not that she was ready for that, either.

Saffron was not in a good mood. She'd been trying all day to convince people that crossing to the other side of the mirrors was a bad idea. So far she hadn't won a single argument, which was entirely out of character for her. She was stalking the halls now, both anger and purpose making her strides rapid and heavy. The first person she encountered was likely to get an earful.

Fortunately, Patchouli's appearance- both the ice scythe and the fantastical dress- threw Saffron off enough that she didn't address Patchy with anger. Instead, she said, "Um, hi... Patchy... what are you... hi."

"I'm... not in a very good mood. This nonsense with crossing to the other side of the mirrors is upsetting me." Saffron leaned heavily against the wall, feeling very tired from all her efforts. "I just... I want everyone safe, you know? I don't want my friends getting killed." She crossed her arms under her substantial chest and pouted. "At least you're being smart and staying here. Not running out for some stupid heroics."
