Who: Yujinn, and Seeu
Where: Yujinn and Seeu's room
When: night, after Yujinn is cursed by Poniko
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Poniko's curse has warm off, but Yujinn is still really depressed.
the Story:  The curse wore off, itself so subtle that Yujinn didn't really realize that it had been there; only that he felt a little better after having hid in bed all day. yes, his insecurities were still there, but they weren't nearly as oppressive as they had been. Without that, and the insomnia, he felt drained to the point of collapsing, and still overwhelmingly lonely.
   Seeu was out of course, since it was night, and Yujinn felt a strange urge to go lay in his bed. it would only be for a moment.
   He curled up on his side, comfortable in the shadowy spot Seeu claimed as his, the sheets were soft, and smelled like Seeu. But he had misjudged just how tired he was, and quickly fell asleep.

Seeu doesn't return until near dawn to his room. He enters quietly anticipating that Yujinn and his duck are asleep. Seeu heads towards his bed and stops near the foot of the bed when he finds Yujinn sleeping there.

The red headed man watches the other sleeping. He considers whether or not he wants to draw Yujinn whose sleeping form can be quite beautiful in the soft light of the approaching dawn. However it is very late and truthfully there are dozens of pictures of Yujinn's sleeping form in Seeu's sketch book.

He changes for bed into a simple long sleeved night gown and takes his place next to Yujinn in the bed. Seeu keeps his distance from Yujinn's touch as he doesn't want to disturb the other who has invaded his bed but he is not sure how he would react to actually being touched.

Yujinn doesn't wake up, but he turns over in his sleep, making a small sound. He shifts, and then cuddles up to the other form in the bed in his sleep. He sighs, and then falls into deep sleep again.

Seeu goes rigid in being touched however he doesn't make Yujinn move or try to wake him. He forces the Lunar Mercury to take the form of cloth which he wraps around his right hand several times in order to stop it from lashing out against the mage.

It appears to be shaping up to be an uncomfortable night for Seeu, who doesn't necessarily mind Yujinn's place in his bed but refuses to vacate it because it's his and there must be some reason why Yujinn is in it.

Yujinn blinked is eyes groggily, slow in early morning lethargy. He was sleeping up close to someone, which wasn't really anything new or strange. It took him a few minutes to place who he was cuddling...

And then he snapped his eyes open, sitting up slowly to avoid disturbing Seeu. He hadn't intended to fall asleep.

He opens his eyes having not slept this entire time but merely resting until Yujinn woke up on his own. Seeu stretches and yawns.

"What happened? This is unusual."

Yujinn blushed. "I didn't mean to fall asleep, I was feeling strange yesterday... I'm sorry if i disturbed you."

"I'll be fine. It's still unusual. What's wrong?"

"I saw something... In the library, there was a creature there, and it... it's hard to describe..." He turned a little pale, looking away for a moment. "I felt helpless and lonely when I saw it."

"I thought you always felt that way." Honesty can be a cruel thing. Seeu frowns. A monster in the library? Wouldn't Haru know about such a thing? "Are you going to be all right?"

Yujinn smiled a little painfully. "I do, yes... It's not normally so overwhelming."

"I'll be fine.. it's just... The bed smells like you. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."

He scratched his head, a little embarrassed.

"I was uncomfortable." Seeu looks away from Yujinn. He frowns ever so slightly. "I didn't say that I wanted you to leave. Am I suppose to believe you when you say you're fine...all of the time?"

Yujinn is quiet for a moment.

"I don't like making people worried for me, so I don't talk about it. I try not to."

"Either your acting is bad or you underestimate people. I can tell that everything is not all right. If you want to sleep in my bed it's fine."

Yujinn was actually surprised, because most people didn't guess.

"Maybe both. I don't know."

He smiled a little, but it vanished again; then he leaned over and kissed Seeu softly.

Seeu lets him then leans back a little. He looks at Yujinn seriously. "Why do you still feel these things? I'm here with you..and many more would have died without your help..."

"I've just always felt them, I'm not sure I know how to not feel that way most of the time."

"No, that's not true... I feel differently when I'm with you, but I doubt, because I've never been in a relationship that meant so much to me."

They have medication for this Yujinn

"And just how many have you been in a relationship with?"

This was probably not the best time to ask this question but it slipped out before he could stop himself.

Yujinn's face colored, and he looked away. 'As in serious relationships, or..."

He shut his mouth, just counting the number in his head... It didn't make him come out all that good.

Seeu leans a little forward and moves his face back in front of Yujinn's. Why is he hiding his face at a time like this? Just how many can there be?!

When it came to that... he didn't even know. He faced his eyes down in shame, although he didn't turn his face away again.

"Dozens... I'm not sure exactly."

"I see.."

Seeu frowned a little. Well Yujinn certainly must know what he wanted if he knew that many lovers.

"Why are you hiding your face? It's just a question." The prince kisses him. "I want you to look at me when I speak to you.

"Because I feel bad." He answered honestly, bringing his eyes up to meet Seeu's.

He raised a hand up to stroke Seeu's hair, just watching him.

"Why do you feel bad? I wanted to know." His face blank but he maintains eye contact with Yujinn. Seeu takes Yujinn's hand and places it on his cheek. The motion of Yujinn's fingers through his hair bothers him a little more. He just wants to have stillness.

'It just reminds me... Am I really worth the time?" Usually he wasn't so honest, he was just tired, and Seeu was different, so maybe he ought to treat him differently.

"This isn't like relationships I've had before, I'm not sure I'm doing it right."

"I can't answer that. I don't know what I'm doing myself." Seeu takes Yujinn's hand away and lays back down on his bed. "However my time is mine to waste. For as long as I want."

Yujinn sat where he was, considering Seeu had he side facing the room. It was stupid of him to whine like this, when he had gone to such lengths to convince Seeu to stay in his room. But, even if sometime he thought Seeu should leave him, he could never leave Seeu, it would be like tearing his heart out.

"It is. Anyway, I love you. i guess that's all I can say."

Seeu's quiet for a long period. He considers the statement and what his reply will be with great seriousness. After ten minutes he replies honestly with soft voice.

"I love you too Yujinn.."

Yujinn smiles, feeling warm and content in every part of himself. If felt like nothing in existence could but a blight on this moment.

He lay down again next to Seeu, so completely happy that it didn't matter what the universe decided to do next.

It's been a long night for Seeu who hasn't slept at all. He falls asleep there. The Lunar Mercury covers him like a clear cloth draped over his entire body.
