For a moment, Vincent looked at the pitiful cat, and then back at Samemaru. That someone would feel sad for a harmed, lifeless doll baffled him in a way. The thought that that thing might be something precious to someone had never crossed his mind. Seeing the mis-matched creature sitting next to Standard made his brain turn harder and faster, as he took in everything Samemaru said seriously.
That cat... broken... put back together... messed up...
Looking at the two dolls was much like looking at himself and Samemaru, if one could see him for what he was. His eyes softened sadly as he looked at the pathetic creature. And yet, this boy pitied it, defended it, hugged it, and sat it down next to Standard as if... as if they could be equals...
"...Perhaps you're right. But... that doesn't mean it can't be fixed." He said, smiling softly. "With a bit of work... just maybe..."
