Who: Tamaki Suoh (
callmedaddio), Jack Ryan (
kindly_done), Augustus Sinclair (
worldentire)
Where In the mansion - from Sinclair's room to Jack's room and on to Tamaki's
When: Why not today? :D
Rating: PG? Oh, Bioshock 1 and 2 spoilers, just in case. <3
Summary: Sinclair's signed Jack up for the upcoming Host Club - so it's on to Tamaki's room to see how the King likes his new Host.
the Story: The last time Sinclair'd tried to go out of his room, he'd gotten lost for a week, and the time before that he'd turned into a Big Daddy - Omega, the form he'd been forced to take before his untimely (and excruciatingly painful) demise - so his hesitation this time around was understandable. He stared out into the hallway, lips twitching, fingers fumbling with his cigarette pack (the pack never seemed to run out of cigarettes, something he was increasingly grateful for, today especially). Teasing one out, he slipped it into his trusty holder, lit it, took a deep breath, and took a step out.
Nothing happened.
Sinclair breathed a sigh of relief and shut the door behind him, starting off towards Jack Ryan's room. His mind wandered, perusing the different outcomes the visit could yield. He didn't see how such an ... excitable boy would turn Jack down, but he knew Jack could back out at any time. He was an oddly skittish fellow, after all. Sinclair snorted to himself. Personally, he usually preferred to stay in his room and radio the people in Wonderland, but at least that was communication. Jack seemed to jitter from shadow to shadow, constantly wary of the people around him.. Then, Sinclair supposed, he was Ryan's child, and Fontaine's toy, after all. It suited him, being jumpy.
He stopped in front of the boy's door (he knew from watching the monitors, after all, that Jack was indeed "home"), tapping on it without hesitation. "It's me, Jack," he called, leaning against the wall beside the door. "Time t'go and visit that club leader. We need t'make sure we get you signed up proper, after all."

His wrench was, as ever, tucked into the back of his belt, the deep orange-red contrasting painfully with the purple of the jacket.
"Hi. Let's get this over with."

"Y'look... strikin'," he offered, taking a drag from his cigarette. "Not bad at all, son. You clean up well, that's for sure." Sinclair pushed off the wall, started to walk down the hallway. "So, tell me, son: you'll be talkin' to ladies, y'know. I'm wonderin' if you're ready for it. Anythin' t'talk about, for example? What comes to mind?"

"I know some children's songs," he offered uncertainly.

He frowned.
"But didn't you say--"
Sinclair said it would be like being home with the girls, and they're not very old at all.

He sighed exasperatedly.
"You don't seem so sweet and kind yourself, at the moment. You tricked me."

He shook his head, clearly annoyed.
"You can say that all you want, but you still tricked me."

"...They do?"

There was an awkwardly long pause before Jack managed an awkward "Hi," to the stranger.
I didn't know when to come in XD
Weird... I don't remember planning coming here... Must have randomly walked this way...
[He waved back to Sinclair and walked over to them as well.]
Hey, Sinclair. This is Jack, I pressume?
ahahaa, you're fine! <3 Now's a good a time as ever~

"Hi. Jack W--Jack Ryan. Pleased to meet you."
It took him another long moment to remember to stick his hand out to shake.
no subject
No need to force it. This is optional, so you don't have to if you really don't want it. It's nice to meet you, Jack.
[He shook his hand and turned to Sinclair]
You too.

"I'm just not sure I understand...what exactly I'm supposed to do."
Lol, I'm not sure I got that right
The job of a host is to make every girl happy! Therefore, you have different kinds of hosts to fulfill their wishes. It's simple. You just need to be a gentlemen and have proper manners and etiquette.
All you really do is talk, drink commoner's coffee, though I think that's just because Ouran, and do what you can to make them happy.
