Summary: A new video transmission appears on the network! It's the grand Lamb & Pillsbury joint practice opening! Hooray~!
the Story:

The video transmission begins with Emma Pillsbury sitting at her desk, news anchor style (only with a little more awkwardness).

"Uhm," she begins, "hello everyone. Sofia Lamb and I were discussing earlier starting a practice for the people of the mansion. It seems with all these events and such that you could all use some..."

She clears her throat. "...guidance."

Emma smiles into the camera hesitantly. Although, I don't think I have any pamphlets for this.

"We're going to room 11 on the 4th floor, if anyone's interested."

The screen flickers and switches to Sofia Lamb, sitting at her desk sideways, sincere smile and zany hair as always perfectly in place.

"So please, do not hesitate to contact or see either of us if you require assistance or merely wish to talk."

She allows for a short pause.

"All matters discussed will of course be treated with utmost confidentiality."

A beat.

"Or at least as much of it as Wonderland will allow."

Having finished the transmission, Lamb turns to water the potted plant in the corner and waits patiently for any network responses or patients that may show immediate interest.

Happy to see Elaine. Concerned in case there is a grave reason, of course. Lamb's tone would like to be perfectly clear on that.

"I would hardly put it like that. The mansion is by no means a recreational resort and besides," she smiles reassuringly, "simply having somebody to talk to often works wonders."

She nods. "Emma and I are looking forward to being of assistance to the people here."

[He takes his cigarette out of his mouth and sighs heavily, rubbing his face with the same hand. He probably doesn't look like he's gotten much sleep recently.]

I might...come see you. [He doesn't sound happy with the idea.]

Nothing happened from the last event that bothers me. People get maimed, murdered, and disappear all the time but I could always use someone to talk to in general.

[There's a lengthy pause as Haru considers whether or not he really wants to discuss this.]

I guess I'd like to talk to someone else about something I can't get over if you're up for it.

Lamb fails to address his indifference, given that she herself is sadly used to living in an environment where people constantly get maimed, murdered and disappear not least thanks to her involvement.

Instead she merely nods, smiling encouragingly. "Anytime you like, Haru."

"It has to do with a tiny little nation named Hong Kong. He. We were lovers. Then he left. The best thing I've ever had gone. What's the point in begin good when it's not fun without him? I have nothing here so little that even my mirror can't hurt me anymore with it. Everyone wants to leave and I have nothing to stay here for and nothing to live for in going back.

I'm a former drug user, a sadomasochist, a street gang member, a murder, a rapist- pretty much everything under the sun. He loved me without knowing these things and it was nice to be able to have something...like that. Now it's gone.

There's nothing anyone in this place could take from me that would matter. I'd welcome forgetting everything.

There is no point for her, for instance. She is not going to mention that. What she is going to mention is this: "Those who do are bound to be more vocal about it than the ones who have come to accept or even enjoy Wonderland."

She pauses for a moment, wondering where to start. "You are saying you do not wish to go back to your former life, however the thing- or much rather person who made your life here worthwile is gone..."

Her eyes fix the camera, her look asking if she understood correctly.

Around midday, there was a quiet knock on the door. Lawrence wasn't even sure why he was doing this. He wasn't crazy, and it wasn't like he couldn't talk to Yujinn or Seeu. Perhaps he simply needed some clarification, an outside and objective voice to clear away what didn't matter.

It was worth a try, anyway.

Lawr stood at the door for a moment, glancing down the hall. He suddenly had the compulsion to dart away. He seemed to have an inherent fear of being truthful with people. Because honestly, why would he want to be truthful with people when the things he had to say were so terribly... depressing?
