FIRE CANDY EVENT POST [OPEN]

Who: You. That's right, YOU. [OPEN]
Where: EVERYWHERE!
When: March 19th, starting at midnight
Rating: To be determined. First offer is PG-13 for drug use.
Summary: CANDY RAVE PARTY IS GO!
The Story:

"At exactly midnight on the 19th, the mansion becomes a club where the party never stops--even if you want it to. Neon and black lights flicker everywhere and loud music makes the walls shake. Outside, Wonderland has become a grungy city of doorless buildings, lit up in neon that makes it impossible to make out any stars in the sky. The only normal fixture of Wonderland that remains are the merchants, though residents will find them changed. Their masks are the faces of animals, their booths are run down, and they'll swindle, scam, and even steal from you if you don't watch out.

But that's not all. What rave would be complete without candy? It's all over the place, littering every surface, in all shapes and colors. The floors are littered with empty wrappers that tempt you: everyone else is doing it, so it can't hurt to have a piece. Right? ♥

And it doesn't! Not at first, anyway. At first, it's quite pleasant, inducing cheerful, playful, laid back moods in anyone who consumes it. It's quite addictive once you've had a taste, but there seems to be plenty to go around."

Then the post says something about changes when the 20th rolls around. But today is not the 20th, so who cares? IT'S PARTY TIME!

"You're asking me? Hello, I know I'm hot." If Santana were to think about it, this would be almost funny--the first time they had met was at a dance-type-thing, too. But that was when Philip was...not much fun beyond the innuendo.

"I just figured you were super repressed," she added with a shrug.

[identity profile] sadfreezingbrit.livejournal.com 2011-03-20 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
Philip just looks at her, smiling a little bewildered.

"Maybe," he starts, chuckling to himself a little. "Maybe that was someone who just looks exactly like me, but isn't."

You know you've had too much drug candy when a body-stealing virus becomes your own private inside joke. Speaking of which...

Philip produces a colourfully wrapped piece of candy from his pocket.

"Candy?"

[identity profile] itsahotone.livejournal.com 2011-03-20 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
"Okaaay. Pretty sure it wasn't your other whatever, so I'm kinda thinking you're just drunk." She was also kinda thinking he wasn't listening, what with the random candy search and all.

"...You're offering me candy?"

[identity profile] sadfreezingbrit.livejournal.com 2011-03-20 01:12 am (UTC)(link)
"No," he shakes his head. "Nonono, that was the last event!"

Another chuckle. ''

"If I was... if I was drunk, could I..."

He spreads his arms, stands on one leg and carefully touches his nose with one, then the other finger.

"Could I do this?"

He does the same while standing on his other leg, then segues back into dancing.

The candy is still in his hand, but the question about it is entirely forgotten.

"Uh, maybe. Some people are more embarrassing drunks than others." Not that Santana knew from experience, oh no. It's not as if she was what was referred to as a weepy drunk or anything.

But anyway. How about some more dancing?

[identity profile] sadfreezingbrit.livejournal.com 2011-03-20 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
Normally Philip would insist on Santana getting the right impression, but why bother? Everything is too shiny to complain and there is dancing to be done!

He joins in with considerably more gusto and a lot less accidentally touching panic than last time.

[identity profile] itsahotone.livejournal.com 2011-03-20 01:49 am (UTC)(link)
Dancing is fun! And it helps her forget other things she refuses to think about. It's really a win-win.

"I like you more like this," she yelled, always the sweet one.

[identity profile] sadfreezingbrit.livejournal.com 2011-03-20 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
And with his happy haze filter in place this clearly is nothing but a very sweet compliment.

"I always like you," he announces with a broad smile.

Granted, in his current state Philip always likes everybody. That guy in the corner over there, the one whose name he doesn't know because he's never even met him yet? That guy is awesome!

[identity profile] itsahotone.livejournal.com 2011-03-20 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
Santana laughed, mostly mocking him, but with a smidgen of genuine amusement. Not that he would notice either way. But she did dance a little closer, getting in his space to see what he would do.

[identity profile] sadfreezingbrit.livejournal.com 2011-03-20 06:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Why, reciprocate and almost close the space between them, of course. Of course.

[identity profile] itsahotone.livejournal.com 2011-03-20 08:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Awesome choice. As much fun as it was to make people uncomfortable for her own amusement, it was sometimes more fun when reciprocation was going on. Like now.

Philip, you now have an underage girl dancing, as she might say, all up onz you.

[identity profile] sadfreezingbrit.livejournal.com 2011-03-20 10:46 pm (UTC)(link)
This causes Philip's voice of reason to point out that, while enjoying himself is acceptable, he should be more careful of the implications of having an underage girl dancing all up onz you.

But when Philip's mind is done with the message all that arrives for his consideration is

Finding this more than reasonable Philip obeys dutifully and continues dancing.

[identity profile] itsahotone.livejournal.com 2011-03-21 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
Oh yeah, she's definitely going to see how long this lasts. It was just too much of a novelty.

Plus, she would have fun reminding him later.

[identity profile] sadfreezingbrit.livejournal.com 2011-03-21 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
Leaving it up to Philip in his present state? THIS COULD GO ON FOREVER~

Later his schedule is already quite packed with misery, so it will be hard for Santana to make an appointment.

Better enjoy her time with him now while he's still dancing, dancing, dancing~ ♫

"Hey, can--"

He points to one of the speakers nearby, gripped by a sudden realisation.

"Can you sing to that?"

[identity profile] itsahotone.livejournal.com 2011-03-21 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
...That was an odd and random question. Santana spun in a circle, doing some good and impressive hairography all the while, then looked back up at him.

"Uh, I guess? If it's a song I know." Which this wasn't. Plus, there were no lyrics.

[identity profile] sadfreezingbrit.livejournal.com 2011-03-21 09:14 pm (UTC)(link)
"Can't you improvise?"

You can do that, right? Don't let drugged!Philip down now, he has the utmost faith in you!

[identity profile] itsahotone.livejournal.com 2011-03-21 09:40 pm (UTC)(link)
"That's not really my thing," Santana said with a well-timed roll of her eyes. They didn't write their own songs in glee club yet, anyway, after all.

"Just wait until a song I know comes on. Then I'll blow you away." No, of course she did not pause between you and away just for kicks. Why would she do that?

[identity profile] sadfreezingbrit.livejournal.com 2011-03-21 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)
If she did then there would be laughs. Happy, happy laughs.

"I-- I almost thought you were going to s- to say--" Philip interrupts himself with a chuckle, then waves it off.

"I can't wait for that!"

Grinnnnn~

[identity profile] itsahotone.livejournal.com 2011-03-22 06:13 am (UTC)(link)
"Too bad," Santana said in a sing-song. Which should have counted as singing for him anyway. "I am not drunk enough--or whatever's up with you--to make up songs."

[identity profile] sadfreezingbrit.livejournal.com 2011-03-23 02:11 am (UTC)(link)
Philip pouts a little at the song rejection, but that setback is quickly forgotten.

"I'm just in a good mood!" Philip insists and brings some extra swing into his dance moves.
