Tim Helsing to the rescue! [OPEN]
Who:
timisnotme , his faithful sidekick
40410 ,and
last_liar ,
thinkin_man ,
playingbadcop ,
wings_of_vanth AND ANYONE ELSE WHO WANTS TO JOIN IN!!
When: Sunday
Where: The tenth floor to the kitchen
What: Tim has taken it upon himself todress like an idiot and lead a group of humans to the kitchen for sustinance
Rating: PG-13 for any vampire attacks
((OOC: Anyone is welcome to join. There's two threads: the journey to the kitchen where any humans can join in, just say what floor you're coming from and all that, and any vampire's can thread jack for random encounters, and a separate thread for the final stand in the kitchen. Feel free to join in at any point on the journey or lie in wait in the kitchen.))
Tim, still wearing this, had stocked up on knives, filled his jacket with wooden stakes, and shot his ridiculous crossbow gun off the balcony enough times that he felt comfortable with his aim. Now, he was ready to do battle.
Being an electronics major wasn't glamorous, it wasn't even all that interesting, but it did allow him to tap into the network and cause this music to be broadcast throughout most of the mansion. Suck on that Professor Harton who said he'd never amount to anything.
With one final look in his mirror, he grinned and left. Time to go collect hisunwilling sidekick from his camera-laden base of operations and get this mission started.

Tim and the others had traversed many obstacles and potential random vampire encounters and had finally made it to the third floor.
"Hello? Anyone around? Akihiko? It's Tim."
He glanced back at the small group of people and then poked his head around the corner looking for the man from the broadcast.

that his mun totally forgot to mention in the thread above, just in case.no subject
"Nice to finally meet you. I'm ready when you are." Like the others, he'd been armed as well. He had his fists and his Evoker strapped to his side. Hopefully that would be all that he needed.

Tim lowered the crossbow slightly, he still had his guard up in case any of these people suddenly revealed they were vampires and attacked them all. But they all looked, well .. normal. So he was at last beginning to relax and think they could make it to the kitchen, and just hold the vampires off until the event ended.
"We just need to go down two more floors, and then we can stay in the kitchen for the rest of the event. Hopefully it doesn't last terribly too long."

"Let's get going."

He locked his door and followed the rest of them.

He kept nervously glancing over his shoulder. They had made it from the tenth floor to the third without incident. It was almost too good and it was making him nervous, like the mansion was toying with them and around the next corner there'd be 10,000 vampires just waiting for them.

Like.
Just keel over.
They could have him.
He was as nervous as Tim though. Not a fan of strangers or dangerous events, it was hard to decide if he should stick close to the others or not, and the result was him lagging a bit behind and then hurrying to keep up.
At least there would only be three more floors of this nonsense.

"You guys are really tense." he commented. It was difficult to ignore for some reason. Akihiko was used to wandering Tartarus, a building that always changed its layout and could have unpleasant surprises around every corner. But even he still felt a rush of nerves when they ran into something. That wasn't the case right now. "They've got heightened senses. Fast too. Can't let them know you're scared."
no subject
Nothing had gone wrong yet, and he wasn't alone.
"They can smell fear? Like dogs?"
no subject
"They can sense the change in your blood, I think. Hear your heart beating fast," he explained to Time. "With how fast they are, there's not really much point in trying to fight them."

The boxer found himself wandering ahead of the group, a little too anxious to dig in. Or maybe he felt like fighting anything that might stand in the way. He felt like he could handle them.

"I think some of the people here could stand up to them..." Not that he was one of them. "But it might be easier to be cooperative."

Really though Tim hoped the rest of the journey passed without incident. On the one hand he'd like to prove he wasn't a weak human, but he also didn't want to die.

Still, he felt the need to defend the people who had been affected by the event. "The one I fed didn't take too much."
Clearly, or he wouldn't be there.
"Um...not that it was really fun for me..."
no subject
"You fed a vampire?" He looked to Yuu, surprised. He hadn't admitted yet, but he'd fed one too, yet they'd healed him afterwards. He could still tell where the bite was administered though; it was uncomfortable to swallow.

Of course he wasn't positive of that.

"I don't think I'm going to change or anything."

He was hoping they could all look out for each other. Vampire or not.
