Who: Hajime and Ivanova
Where: Hajime's place
When: Sunday night
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Ivanova goes to talk to Hajime about the last event
The Story:
The last event had been disconcerting. She's grown to like Hajime since she got here, but with out the event, that overwhelming feeling was gone. It wasn't like it was impossible to think about. She liked him, and he wasn't hard on the eyes either.
It was Sirius's arrival more than anything that made her want to see him right now. This one was younger, and didn't remember her or Wonderland. Somehow, it was still him, with his face and mannerism; but at the same time it wasn't and never would be.
She reached his door and knocked, wondering if he would even be in.

Opening the door, a smile appears at seeing his visitor. However, it soon vanishes in seeing her expression. Was something wrong?
"Su-Commander? Is everything okay?"

"Events can do strange things." She frowns. "I mean, I like you..."
Still not sounding right.

And then he's a bit surprised to hear those three words. How should he respond? He...well, he did like her as well. "I would have to say the same. Whether it's lingering effects of the event or not, I'm not sure."

She frowns. This kind of relationship hadn't worked before in Wonderland, she'd been left behind.

He's somewhat fumbling over his words, again not knowing if what he's saying is what he should be saying.

She pauses, "But do you want to try something?"
no subject
No; he wasn't going to let that get him down. His resolve shows as he responds, "I would like to, yes. Only if you're comfortable doing so."
no subject
"I want to, but we should probably take it slower than the event did."

She pauses, "Maybe we should go on a date?"

The comforting smile shows itself. "How about dinner?"
no subject
"Tomorrow night, maybe?" She smiles.

"I don't have anything planned, so yes. What would you like to do?"

His attention goes back to Susan, a warm smile slowly widening.

He walks over to the closet and opens the door. "Would you like something to drink? Or eat?"

"So, aside from the event, how have you been?" He walks over to her and holds out one of the mugs.

She takes a drink of coffee. "He's younger now."
