Summary: Alice decides the best way to keep everyone from wandering off to other places is to have a Christmas party! But...it might possibly make things worse. You should click the cut and find out.
The Story:
This year, the ballroom's decorations are all in an icy blue and white. Even the tree is blue, though oddly it seems to be a natural tree, growing out of the ground. Icicles are hanging from the ceiling, but the room is not terrible cold. The room is decorated with things like snowflakes, snow, and even a full-sized snowman in one corner.

There's a dance floor and Christmas music coming from seemingly nowhere, as well as a long table to the side for refreshments. There's all kinds of delicious food, drinks, and even some of that more adult eggnog. There are tables for sitting at as well, enough for everyone. Everyone should come - why even Alice herself will be in attendance.

The party itself will go smoothly; however, when the clock strikes midnight and the party ends, everything will shake for a moment and there will be several more loud CRACKS. When it's over, all of the decorations will be gone, and about a dozen more rifts to home will appear outside in various places.

[ There are a lot of people. Granted it is a party and those usually require it! But it also means Jade is having a harder time than usual getting from here to there (and it's not because of all the eggnog she has had). So when she walks by Santana, she passes by a little too closely. "A little too closely" meaning she bumps straight into her. ]

[ Jade was embarrassed to admit it, but, she lost her mirror. Which was okay really. She was kind of quiet and boring. It was like having a ghost for a neighbor. A ghost that didn't like parties.

How could anyone even dislike parties though? They are so vibrant and lively! Jade would throw a party every day if she could. Especially if it meant they would have tasty eggnog like this one. It has a certain...bite. At first she didn't like it, but that was only the first cup. The second cup was a little tastier. The third -what she was drinking right then- could be described as downright delectable. She was definitely going to get a refill when she finishes.

But for now Jade sits at a table, playing with napkins and drinking things that she shouldn't be drinking. ]

The party don't start 'till I walk in. [ Her words echo through the hearts of everyone present. Not a single individual at this party feels the tinglings of merriment and glory until Terezi enters, fashionably late of course. The challenge has been issued and accepted, good sir. It seems Entranceway is quite overdo for the oft-mentioned, little experienced FASHION-OFF. For this, Terezi is on the offensive, hunting Buckingham palace down in his wall-flowery place of refuge.

Noah is at the party too, but unlike his Real Thing, he's keeping to himself and just watching the festivities. He's put on his best clothes though, since this is a party and the situation calls for it.

Plus, it might have the added benefit of impressing Santana, if she's around.
