[Tony remembers hitting the ground, he also remembers JARVIS trying to tell him something was interfering with the suit. Everything between these two events are hazy]

...JARVIS?

Sir?

Where are we? And how did something manage to down the suit without touching it?

I am unable to pin point our location, sir. There is no data on what caused the suit to fail. Apart from superficial scratches, it seems that the thrusters are currently offline.

Well fix it, JARVIS.

It seems to be wiring damage, there's nothing I can do, sir.

Good thing we're on the ground then.

[Tony sits up on his elbows and looks around the area, seeing a building not too far away, then he slowly gets up. Opening his mask and looking down at the scratches]

When we get back to the tower, I really need to work on a paint that's harder to scratch off.

Keeping focused on the priorities, like always, sir.

Just focus on finding out where we are, JARVIS.

It may take some time.

I don't care, do it.

[Tony looks up at her and smiles]

Well, I am now. Just having some technical difficulties.

[He glances around the place before looking back at her]

If this is your place, I can pay for the...

[Looks at the small crater he made]

[Have you made it inside? We'll assume you have, and sort of continued wandering from there. Which is where Barton is too, actually, on the way to the kitchen for something to eat. Spots the familiar horribly subtle and unobnoxious red and gold.]

[Stops to look at the owner of the voice, his helmet under his arm by now. He quirks an eyebrow at him]

It's the only way I know how to arrive.

[He looks him up and down]

I knew you flew the coop, but you flew to a place like this?

I've always wondered about your sense of style.

With this place, nobody gets much of a say. Thor's around, too.

[He shrugs. And, well, somebody else besides them. He's not bringing that up yet, but at least Tony will take it more easily than Thor probably did.]

Huh. I just thought he'd gone to Asguard. To give me a break from his shouting.

[Tony gives a sigh more dramatic than it needed to be]

So this being unable to leave thing. Tested it out? Because really, we have things to do, days to save. Nicks games to watch.

I just found out about this place that sells Kangaroo steak, I have to get back for that.

I haven't tried it myself, but I can tell you it's impossible to even get to the fences. [Despite those looking like they're close enough to walk to easily.]

Sherlock heard the impact--rather hard not to--and was hard pressed not to at least find a room with a view of the impact zone from which to spy down from. He certainly didn't recognize the metal gear the man wore or his face (though from the second floor that would have been difficult at a distance anyway). He considered for a moment going out but chose instead to stay as others mingled with the metal man, watching his body language and forming some quick deductions. He wasn't dangerous at least.

One of the many perks of living on the same floor as the dinning hall and occasionally the library is getting to 'randomly' bump into other people of interest. It's hardly random when Sherlock happens to be near one of the more communal areas as the newcomer becomes aquainted with his surroundings, though.

"You're going to be very bored, very quickly."

Hey. I started with Asia and was working my way across. I'm still eating through the middle east, but I was told that place was really authentic, so it was going to be an exception.

[Tony wags a finger at Clint]

Impossible is for people who didn't build their first engine at 6 years old.

[Clint cocks his head.]

Sure. But aren't you gonna get out of your can first?

His helmet was off as he clunked by and heard the voice. And turned to see its owner.

He had a vague feeling that he should recognise the man. But just couldn't imagine how or where he would have met him. He somehow didn't seem like the kind of guy to show up at any Tony would show up to.

Looking the other up and down, he gave him an easy grin with a well practised casual stance from having to deal with people that he potentially would never care about every day through Stark Industries.

"Yeah? Well I wouldn't worry about that. I'm not going to be here long enough to be bored at any speed."

His eyes never left the ones belonging to the Englishman. Everything about him gave Tony the feeling that he would need to be on his highest guard.

Good thing he doesn't trust anyone.

Don't focus on the suit. It's just a minor stepping stone. At least it is until I can get a screwdriver, a pair of pliers, wire cutters and possibly some K.Y. But I'm not sure about that yet. I haven't actually needed to take this off without assistance.

Besides. It's the only place that has Jarvis, and I need to know when he's finished working.

All easy to come by. As would be a laptop, if you can get Jarvis transferred from the suit.

[When Tony crashes Loki is sitting in a tree, busy browsing the internet on his communicator, trying to indentify all the new plants that have invaded his bedroom last night.

Of course such a crash is not something he can ignore. And definitely not the fact that the cause of such a crash is Tony Stark himself. The phone of Stark has brought him much joy when he still was in Asgard.

He slides out of the tree, landing on his two feet.]

The man of iron!

I'm not going to put JARVIS in just any laptop. It takes up a lot of space to compute the things he goes through. Remember, he ran that tower you were comfortably living in... Till now anyway.

[Tony stops for a moment]

How long have you even been here?

[A simple enough statement, but his eyes are on Tony, now. See if he believes it, how he takes it. Time works differently here, he knows that much without having a fancy scientific name for it.]

[Tony stares for a moment]

Huh.

[To be fair, Tony only ever knew what day it was because of JARVIS or Pepper, as far as he knew, Clint could have been gone longer or shorter than he said. Tony wasn't one to pay much attention to things other than himself, his projects, or the sound of his tower being broken.]

Yeah, so those things. Where? Just because the suit has a filtration system doesn't mean I want to go in it if I don't have to.

[Tony looks at the kid as he approaches, an eyebrow slowly rising at the tone of familiarity. And the boys exclamation]

The boy of tree.

[Tony shrugs at him.]

[Loki is familiar with Tony Stark's way of communicating through the stories of his brother. It does not really seem to faze him. He approaches the man with a certain curiosity.]

[What Clint doesn't say: Before he found himself relocated to this place, he didn't live in Stark Tower - or Avengers tower, whatever it was called now - he'd been elsewhere with Nat, before planning to head back to SHIELD.]

Sherlock smiles just slightly, knowingly. He clasps his hands behind his back as he makes no efforts to disguise the fact that he is taking him in detail by detail.

"Oh, yes, of course. Nothing is impossible until you, the American Entrepreneur, fails at it... No. Not even then. Nothing is impossible so long as it is you who is behind it. What an amazingly inflated ego you have. The costume suits you." He raises his left brow appraisingly. He doesn't instinctively hate the man at least. Not that he's enamored in any way either.

"I can assure you, you are here until such a time as you are allowed to leave. There has been no small amount of effort put into the study of Wonderland or the Mansion for that matter. Your scientific expertise may come in handy but I imagine given time your preoccupation will most certainly stray to simply staying sane amidst the dull climate."

[Loki holds his communicator and shows it to Tony.]

Does this model hail from Stark Industries as well? I have not been able to locate the name of your brand yet.

[Tony thinks, then glances about the hallway]

What kind of technology would that be using? Even I haven't mastered using brain waves. Otherwise I wouldn't need JARVIS to speak.

[He looks back to Clint]

See, now your smirking. And either you're thinking this is very funny or you're actually being serious about this.

Could always be both. But I'm serious, and sure you can pick it apart and see if you can figure it out, but from what I'm getting, this place doesn't stick to logic much.

"For a start. It's not a costume, it's a highly advanced tool, prosthesis if you will. And if you're trying to impress or scare me with what you know about me. Try again. I've never been one for subtle so nothing you're saying isn't something some kid is Lithuania can't find out at a computer."

Who ever he was, Tony knew he wasn't going to any lengths to try and get him to trust him. Somehow, he respected him for this.

"I've never waited to be allowed to leave in my life. Why should I start now? And my expertise, scientific or otherwise comes with a consulting fee that this place could never afford."

Tony adjusts his hold on his helmet, before looking back at the other man.

"Also considering my achievements I think it's at an appropriate inflation. I have fantastic PSI for my ego."

He might by narcissistic and egotistical, but none of it was undeserving.
