Who: Bela Talbot and Clint Barton
Where: Mansion, tenth floor.
When: First day of the fog event.
Rating: PG-13.
Summary: Bela gets dosed with the fog. Cue freakout. Insert helpful archer.
The Story:
Bela was having a bad day.
Actually, make that a terrible day.
It had started like any other day in the mansion and Bela was alright with that (even if she still wanted to go home) until she saw the fog seeping into her room. The incident with the mist not so long ago had taught Bela that it wasn't a good thing and, fearing for her life, she left her room as quickly as possible, intending to get far away from the offending fog. Of course, that didn't prepare Bela for the fog on the tenth floor.
She ran straight into it before she realised what it was, coughing and spluttering whilst trying to find her way out. The real fun happened when she began to see and hear things: the growl of a hellhound, red-eyed demons, steadily making their way closer towards Bela. She was scared and that wasn't even the worst part.
"Abby."
A familiar voice filtered through the sounds of the hellhound and the demons, making Bela freeze in fear. No. Not him. Please God, not him. Anyone but him.
He said the name again and Bela let out a wail, scrambling along the walls to get away because she couldn't face it right now. It was too much and she ran as fast as she could, becoming more exposed to the fog. Bela stumbled and fell to the ground, cutting her knee in the process. It stung like hell and for a moment, the pain brought her to her senses.
Bela used that moment to find a corner to hide in, covering her ears with her hands.

He picks a door at random and steers her towards it, grabbing the handle. "We'll check this room. If it's clear, it'll be the safe room. Sound good?"

She looks around anxiously, checking for anything that may have followed them. A part of her still believed in the things she saw.
