A Day in the Life

Summary: A day in the life as Mindy slowly adjusts to Wonderland.
The Story: Mindy was, for all intents and purposes, an adult in a child's body. Due to the constant training that she'd undertaken and all of the violence that she'd seen and performed, she'd grown up quite fast. So fast, in fact, that there are times that even she forgets that she's a child and not a pint sized adult. Unfortunately, Mindy is like any other child [and most adults]. When she gets bored, she starts to explore and, quite possibly, get a little nosey.

The Rabbit Hole

Mindy's heard quite a bit about this place and had even passed by it when it was boarded up when the Banderwhatsit had just been released. Curious as to what kind of food that they served there, and whether or not she could get a hot fudge sunday for breakfast, she makes her way into the diner and settles herself at a booth.

For Xander, this was too early. But he'd never been the hot coffee morning person. More the hot chocolate, way-late night person. He arrived at the Rabbit Hole in his pajamas with slipped on his feet and a tired expression on his face.

Noting the girl in the booth, he remembered she was well armed the last time they'd met. Well armed and sassy. Xander waved. "Hey, do you know if they serve breakfast here?"

The Library

Despite her protests to the contrary, Mindy rather enjoys the library sometimes. She likes to learn and she has no issue with combing through books, particularly if they're about history, the military, or weapons. So, when an urge to re-read Crime and Punishment overcame her, she decides to head for the library instead of attempting to wish it up from the magic closets. After all, what if the closets screw up and another one of those Banderwhatsits or flying Jub thingies come out?

The Grounds

Mindy has never had a lot of time on her hands before. She'd never really thought of exploration as an option until Clara had mentioned it the first time that they'd spoken. So, here she was on the grounds, attempting to explore. Except...how does one explore?
