the Story:

Yuuko was, of course, expecting the young man. He needed, wanted, longed for his computer to be returned after all; but if course, everything came with a price. She did see the comparison he had given her before. She enjoyed her puppets from time to time. Moving them from one situation to another, causing things to work just as she saw them in the end. But this was fate, and one could not run from fate. In fact, between the pair of them it could be called a gravitational force, pulling them ever apart and then back together once again. It was quaint, and rather romantic. She simply had no one she trusted enough to fawn over such things, pretend to be ever excited about.

She took up her glass, simple brandy in honor of the deceased. How she longed for him to be here. To share her enjoyment of the situation. Though it was grave, she still found it an advantage. The possibility of seeing him once again was the only thing that could make her stomach tilt and move like a young girl again. Not even the removal of Watanuki's eye, something she had done with the greatest displeasure could cause her more then the subtle pang of emotion. So was the way of being who she was.

Taking a sip she waited for the door to open. Eiri would not be the type to ask for entrance, not when he was demanding of something he felt it was his right to have.

Now that Eiri's door was unlocked, he wasn't going to miss this opportunity to demand his laptop back from Yuuko. Not only did he want his laptop back, but he wanted the pink sweater off as well. When he woke up the morning he and Shuichi were unlocked, the ghastly thing appeared on his body again. Then there was that earring as well. He didn't know why he had become the victim of Yuuko's amusement, but its was becoming quite ridiculous now.

Before leaving, Eiri grabbed his long button up shirt that he found in the closet. He pulled it over the sweater and buttoned it up to the top. He was not going out in public looking like he had just been through Shuichi's wardrobe.

It wasn't long before he barged in Yuuko's room without knocking, "You have something of mine and I want it back." He wasn't going to beat around the bush and small talk with her today. He didn't want tea or any of the like and he didn't want to have to hear her riddles.

She looked up from her brandy, then looked down at her breasts. “I'm sure I do, but really, they would look horrible with that physique.” She thought a moment, crossing to her writing desk and placing the cup there, looking him over appraisingly. Had they gotten their anger out? They had fat too many bitter emotions to keep left to the whole mansion. It seemed perhaps they had, if they had been left out. However, if the man even dared asked of her the removal of her payment, she would refuse. One did not back out of a deal once the bargain was struck. “Perhaps,” She said teasingly, “A C cup or slightly higher. But I just don't think my double E's would suit you at all.”

Eiri gritted his teeth. "Get to the point already," Eiri didn't have time for this. Crossing his arms he looked around the room to see if his laptop was at all in sight. Not that he'd expect it to be, Yuuko probably had it hidden somewhere.

It really wasn't. Why would she leave it where he could snatch it, after all, snatch wasn't something he was interested in. More, the other end and other sex. She smirked inwardly at her own joke. “Mmm, so then you're going to make another trade?” She asked curiously with a quirked brow.

"I want my laptop back, first and foremost." Eiri stated dryly. He remained standing, he was obviously in a hurry. "Cut the bullshit and tell me where you stored it."

“Mmmm.” She mused, demanding, wasn't he? She walked over to the closet, resting a hand against it. “And what are you giving in return?”

"Exactly what you deserve, nothing." He raised an eyebrow, turning slightly as he followed her moves. Eiri never trusted her and he wasn't going to keep his back turned.

She tisked him, wiggling her finger. “Too bad for you nothing is gained without something lost.” She replied, moving about the room. She was acting like a cat with a mouse cornered. “How was your stay with him?” She asked, not even stopping before she reached her bed. There she sat on it, watching him with red eyes.

As usual, Yuuko kept him waiting. She was going to string him along for as long as she could. Eiri hated how she was able to do that. "Mind numbing." His stay with Shuichi was worse than any death sentence. Even the make up sex wasn't worth him having to put up with Shuichi's antics. Not only that, but he could still hear Shuichi's thoughts and vise versa wasn't being mindful of it.

She couldn't help but laugh. “How enticing.” So it seemed that they had made their differences after all. Not completely, several days alone with anyone would cause both parties to want to commit suicide. It was once they were removed from the situation that things could be solved properly. She lazied back against the bed. “Are you planning on going to him?” She asked intrusively.

He shot her a look, "What do you think?" Of course he wasn't going to see Shuichi after being stuck in a room with him for a week with nothing to look at but four walls and a whiney brat.

“Ahh, then you won't get your computer back.”

For some reason, Eiri knew something to this extent would happen. She wasn't going to blindly give away his computer. "I expect it to be in the same condition as I had left it." He didn't quite know what she would ask of him.

“I would never break another's things.” She pointed out with a heavy pout. How cruel of him!

"And what exactly would be an equal exchange for it?"

"Communication for a communication device.” She replied evenly. She turned to her side and looked at him simply. “Go, speak, to, your wife.”

His brow furrowed when he heard her call Shuichi his 'wife'. "Whatever sick fancy you get out of this is beyond comprehension."

“None.” She replied with a yawn. “Though seeing you keep another from creating your future is rather gratifying, yes.”

"Having your own life is even more gratifying," with that said, Eiri turned to the door, opening it. "I'm coming back here tomorrow, by the time I leave, the laptop better be in my possession."

She simply smiled, hiding the bittersweetness of the thing. Really, she had once had a life. It was a quiet thing with a fated man. But that has since faded and now she lay here. “Do enjoy yourself.” She called, waving to him lazily.
