[saix and luxord; incomplete]

Who: Saix [livejournal.com profile] falltheseventh and Luxord [livejournal.com profile] stackthedeck
Where: Library
When: Evening-ish, November 6
Rating: PG-13 for HOT SEX just to be safe.
Summary: Saix has issues and Luxord is a good outlet.
the Story:

It's not terribly difficult to find his way to the library; after all, he remembers what dusty old books smell like from all of the time other Nobodies spent their days with them. It's a scent that hasn't left his memories and probably never will.

Likely, it's a good thing to get out for a bit; after all, Vexen is far too stubborn to leave the room, and Saix will gladly take the initiative to exit, unless there is protest.

There isn't. He isn't certain if that's a good sign or not.

The berserker pushes the door open into the library, snorting a bit at the scent a moment. He doesn't... read much, though he certainly knows how to. It's just not his... specialty. No one's really inclined him to be well-read.

The library isn't usually Luxord's hide-out of choice, but it does serve as a rather good place to talk away from prying eyes and ears, and that's what he's grateful for. He doesn't know exactly what Saix wants to speak with him about, but the gambler has a nagging suspicion it possibly has something to do with Vexen. Xemnas's arrival at the mansion hasn't exactly helped things with some of the Organization's members, not really.

The library is practically empty at this time of the evening, so it doesn't take long for him to spot the other Nobody. "Evening, Saix," he greets the other, questions stowed away in the back of his mind as he makes his way over.

Luxord knows that Saix wouldn't ask to meet him here just for a cup of tea and a good ol' chit-chat. Especially with the more recent ...events that have occurred within the Organization. It's only a matter of time until Xemnas finds out the true state of affairs, and then who knows what will happen?

He nods and folds his arms, watching Saix for a few seconds, before replying, "I'm guessing this has something to do with the whole 'master' thing with Vexen?" Luxord hates to be horribly blunt like that, but he isn't stupid, nor is he going to beat around the bush. Efficiency is the watchword, or something like that.

And, bingo. Luxord knows that Vexen has never been entirely sporting about the whole situation, so he can't say he's exactly surprised.

"So, what's happened?" he asks. "I doubt you've changed your mind about your choice of master, but obviously something is amiss between the two of you." Obviously. Quite the understatement, but he doesn't say that aloud.

He can't help but chuckle a little at this despite the tone in the other's voice. "I had figured as much." Luxord listens to what else is said, and replies, "Even though Vexen is acting like this, you still aren't going to even consider the possibility?"

Luxord's eyebrows furrow a little at his next revelation. "Useless? His tendency for being overdramatic is shining through, I see. Though... in a place like this, there isn't much for a master to command their... servant, if you will, to do." He hates the word, but has no choice but to use it.

The gambler treads lightly around the subject, it being one of much irritation among VII and IV, particularly now.

"Hn. That puts you in a... rather difficult position."

Luxord doesn't want to suggest just having no master; that is probably not the smartest thing he'll ever do, and probably one of the last if he decided to. Not to mention he isn't entirely sure what the beserker's reaction would be, and he doesn't want to meddle in affairs that were none of his concern. "Personally, if Vexen has told you you are of no use to him, I see a point in changing, but it is your decision."

Luxord thinks for a bit, and then replies, "Ah but would Ansem be the only thing stopping you from changing your mind?" Rhetorical question. The gambler doesn't expect Saix to answer something so personal as that. "Have you tried asking Xemnas about his insight into that?"

Now all the pieces of the puzzle are starting to fit together a little better.

"Staying with Vexen is your best bet," he agrees, "but meeting his approval... is going to be pretty damn difficult. All the years I've known him, and well. Everything anyone does concerning him is usually wrong." He shrugs, not wanting to sound negative, but merely saying things the way he sees it.

If it were the time for such things, Luxord would be smirking at the expression on Saix's face, but he says nothing about it. If it were possible, he suspects the other Nobody would be almost allergic to personal things like that.

"Well... you're going to have to tell him eventually. At the moment he hasn't got a clue, but if he finds out from a third party..." there would be hell to pay. What exactly Xemnas's reaction will be he isn't sure, but he doesn't need to voice this; Saix would, or should, already know that. "Just tell him straight up?" he offers.

"I'm guessing that with Vexen, there's going to be a lot of trial and error on your part until you can figure out exactly how to meet his approval. There isn't really any other way around it."
