If you could be any you, who would you be? [OPEN]

Who: EVERYBODY!
Where: TV Wonderland
When: June 29th - July 1st
Rating: anything from Teletubbies to Game of Thrones
Summary:
As announced this will be a catch-all post for shorter scenes, commercials, or things you simply don't want to make an entry for.
  1. If you want to involve your character in anything and everything, leave a blank comment with them and see what others drag them into! Other characters will respond and set a random scene for the two (or three or seven) of you.

  2. If you only have one particular thing in mind then set it up in a comment and wait for replies of anybody who wants to play along with the idea and stumble into that scene in their next response (or mark the thread CLOSED if you already have participants in mind)!
The Story:
Over the course of the event, everyone will be forced to act out various stereotypical roles and common tropes. The setting immediately around them will change randomly into settings from cliche popular media, complete with mediocre side-character NPCs who will never break character. It will become clear very quickly that they are expected to act out a particular role in the scene. They might be expected to be a tough cop, or a handsome sexy doctor, or someone’s evil twin come back from the dead, or any number of terrible tropes – and these tropes do not necessarily have anything to do with who the character is or what they do for a living. They could be the most innocent person and suddenly find themselves forced into the role of a hardened criminal.

He rolls his eyes. "We all ended up English nobility in Athos' country estate," he tells her. "I should have suspected it wasn't over when we escaped that."

"English nobility?" Donna hides her laughter by taking a sip from her glass of water, but the laugh track provides it in spades. "That must have been terribly insulting for a Frenchman such as yourself." She gives him a teasing grin.

"Servants of the French crown, no less," Aramis added. "Though it was far more humourous than this situation, ironically."

"You know, I've not met Athos," she remarks. "Though I know D'Artagnan - we spoke when I first arrived here, and he invited me to join his book club." Not that Donna's much of one for reading, but it seems mildly entertaining - or something to do, at least.

When the waiter returns, she places her order, silently breathing a sigh of relief when nothing catastrophic happens. Maybe their bad luck is over for the night.

"He's invited us to join the bookclub as well." He glances across at her. "You're the most compelling reason to join so far."

"I'm not quite sure I can imagine you reading books about vampires falling in love with telepathic waitresses," Donna remarks, the laugh track kicking in right on cue.

Much like Voldemort the Devil, if you speak D'Artagnan's name on a sitcom date, he shall appear. The door to the kitchen swings open-- hitting the back of Aramis' chair in the process-- and D'Artagnan appears in the typical black pants/white shirt combo, his hair neatly pulled back and a notepad in hand. The fake audience cheers.

"Huh. This isn't the pool," he says, and the canned laughter plays. That's going to be annoying. He looks around and finally notices Donna and Aramis right in front of him, and he grins widely.

"Well hello. Fancy meeting you here."

Aramis glanced up and rolled his eyes. "Oh, are you the butler this time? Couldn't find Buckingham this afternoon, was it?" Laugh track. He rolled his eyes again. "If you're going to play the waiter, then just bring us something to eat so we can get out of here."

Donna can't say she's surprised to see D'Artagnan - it seems precisely like the sort of thing that would happen in a bad sitcom date, though obviously the two Frenchmen aren't as genre-savvy as she is. She does feel a little bad that he's been dragged into this whole mess, too, though.

"I'll take the special, thanks," she tells him as she hands him her menu with a smile. "And a bottle of wine to share. I think we could both use a drink." There goes the laugh track again.
