xemnas and saix; +incomplete+
Who: Xemnas
firstsilence, and Saix
falltheseventh
Where Outside the library
When: Let's say... evening of November 7th?yay timezones!
Rating: Pg-13 for safety, and all that.
Summary: Xemnas and Saix... explore the mansion!!1! Sort of. And discuss some important matters.
the Story:
If he wasn't a Nobody and emotions weren't beyond him, Xemnas would currently be fuming at the current events. What possessed the woman to dye people's clothing pink even he will never understand, but he brushes it aside as he makes his way to the library, knowing all too well that any pride he still has intact would be gone if any of the Organization's members saw him in a pink coat. But he pushes it to the back of his mind, mulling over what he is going to say to Saix, knowing all too well that sometimes he speaks too much for his own good.
He ignores the gnawing feeling in the pit of his stomach at the revelation that the berserker also has something to discuss with him, as he can't imagine what it possibly is.
After taking what seemed like countless wrong turns, (and inwardly refusing to knock on someone's door to ask directions) Xemnas finally makes it to the library, brow furrowed in minute frustration. He's never had much sense of direction, really, though he won't admit it.

It seems that Saix has been back to his normal clothes without any dye issues, at least not to his coat. He's fortunate enough, at least.
"Xemnas," he says, as a greeting, but no further than that.
no subject
"Good evening, Saix," Xemnas replies, nodding a little to acknowledge the somewhat short greeting. He stops a few steps short of the other Nobody, his expression calming somewhat, although the apprehension from before still lingers.
Somehow he isn't too sure that this discussion is going to go terribly well.
no subject
But he won't let that right now. Saix hasn't a clue what Xemnas may have to talk to him about, but he can't assume it's going to be pleasant.
"Shall we walk as we speak with each other?"
no subject
"That sounds like an excellent idea." Now would be the time, if he were that sort of Nobody, to make some sort of joke about getting lost within the corridors of the mansion -- but Xemnas isn't, and he doesn't breathe a word about it.
no subject
But, that's all due for the report to mention, of course.
Saix simply nods, before he gestures for Xemnas to take lead; getting a lost isn't a problem with him now. He can manage to find his way back, usually, by one means or another.
"What is it that you wish to discuss?"
May as well get that out of the way.

"The Organization... I simply was curious as to what their situation was. Before I arrived at the mansion. And currently is."
Xemnas hasn't spoken to all of the Organization members yet; most know of his presence here, yet there are some that he isn't even sure are here; hence the question.
no subject
"When I arrived, I believe the following members were here: Xigbar, Zexion, Axel, Demyx, Luxord, Marluxia, Larxene, and even Roxas himself. Soon after my arrival was Vexen, and then yourself days after that. I do not think that the Organization has been particularly active here -- not that I am surprised. The Keyblade Master is here, yet it appears Sora retains most of his memories, save for the events in Castle Oblivion, and Roxas also recalls everything. Neither of them know why they are separated. Recently, I've just found Namine here."
He pauses a moment, then scowls. "The Keyblade Master is of no use to us here, either. He cannot summon his Keyblade. I'm not sure if Roxas can; I have spoken with him very little. Recently, it seems that Axel, Demyx, and Marluxia have disappeared. I have not actually seen the first two. Larxene is particularly active in her little games. I am sure you're aware of Luxord's activity, as well as Vexen's and my own. Admittedly, I have kept little track of Xigbar." By choice.
"Xaldin and Lexaeus are not present. I am not... sure what they may mean, but then, this mansion is quite a mystery."
Saix pauses, then scowls. "That is... all that I know, other than my own present situation. Which is precisely what I need to discuss with you, Xemnas."
no subject
Roxas. If Sora can't summon his Keyblade, then perhaps XIII can; but with his 'disappearance' coupled with the fact he probably doesn't want to help the Organization will be a problem.
"It seems there is a lot that needs to be done, then. Whether... Kingdom Hearts is still a possibility here remains to be seen, but." He pauses. "Your present situation?"
no subject
He doesn't quite wince, but he carries on, as if it's basic information.
"As you are well aware, the Heartless of your original that calls himself Ansem is here. When I first arrived... I followed the scent, thinking it was you at first, until I found out it was the Heartless, that you were not here. At first, I was under the impression that I could simply keep myself shut in a room; I knew it was not you, Xemnas, but my instincts were difficult to ignore. After all, I was quite prepared to accept your next orders."
Xemnas had been his master. But now...
"Unfortunately, I was forced to change who I took orders from, so I would not follow that Heartless like some common mutt. ... My apologies, Xemnas, but I may not continue to take your orders, so long as Ansem is here."
no subject
The last part, however, catches him entirely unawares, and he unconciously stops walking.
He isn't sure what to say. It isn't Saix's fault, and he wants to tell him that apologising isn't necessary... but finding the words is proving difficult. "...I see," he finally manages. It makes sense. Not to mention Xemnas knows that one of the last things Saix would want to do is have to take orders from Ansem, anyway. "....no apology is necessary. I understand."
no subject
"Thank you. It's simply... the Organization is already having difficulties here. I would not know where to lead us, especially when I cannot take orders from my own Superior."
Saix finds it a bit disgraceful, but he can't do anything else about it.
"Currently... I am taking orders from Vexen. Or... lack thereof."
He's not sure if he wants to elaborate on that or not.
no subject
"It is not a problem. And... now that I am aware of these issues, I will do my best to resolve them. Having the Organization sitting idly waiting the time away isn't the most productive of things to do." He is mildly irritated at his own blindness to things around him, and silently promises to never let such things occur again.
"Vexen?" The smallest hint of a smirk forms on Xemnas's lips. "I wish you luck in that particular endeavour."
no subject
His next statement, he shouldn't even consider.
"Hm. I am not sure how we may continue our goals here," Saix leaves it as, before the subject returns to IV. He scowls faintly.
Somehow, out of all the residents of the mansion, Vexen has the unspeakable talent to completely infuriate him -- especially since he shouldn't even be able to feel anger.
Hn.
"For all of his complaints of insubordination, he's not particularly good at giving orders," Saix remarks with a snort.
no subject
"Roxas." he remarks simply. "We have proof that putting Heartless in the mansion is possible, but getting XIII to help will be the issue." As Saix already knows.
"One can follow orders for their whole life, and yet not be able to give them for the life of them." Xemnas muses. "I would not know what following orders from him is like, but I am sure it may just take him a while to get used to having to give you orders."
no subject
Saix isn't entirely sure if he agrees with the his own words; he'd much rather simply leave Sora alone, seeing as how he no longer has the Keyblade at all.
Not that he cares. At all.
"Perhaps," Saix remarks skeptically, but he says nothing further about Vexen. It's his own issue that he honestly does not have to pour onto Xemnas, who already has his responsibilities with the Organization.
Somehow, he must make this work.
