Who: erica and derek
Where: somewhere in the mirrorside

Rating: idek both deserve warnings for being themselves.
Summary: apologies without the actual apology part. if derek gets his way, that is, and erica listens to begin with.
The Story:
[ the queen's victory had landed them on the other side of the mirrors, a place that was wrong in every sense possible. maybe that's why derek even approaches erica, having kept his distance during the chess game, his intentions clear in the confines of his own mind; a... reconciliation of sorts, as he hopes to make amends for the hurt he'd caused her at the party even if he still thinks what he'd said holds true.
pack is family. it goes beyond simple friendship and to something more, something deeper where his trust is in her and hers needs to be in him. and yet...
they don't seem to quite get it.
but maybe this will be a set towards the right direction.
it takes him a little to track her down, the scents of this world all off and odd, the place a mirror side yet so completely different it's taken a little getting used to. but he does find her in the end, makes sure she's alone because the last thing he needs is scott or stiles -- or that damn argent girl -- stepping into this.
he approaches carefully, quietly, and announces his presence with a simple; ]
