It was one of those days that has Chris feeling a little restless.

He's been up since the sun rose over the horizon, his body used to running on only a few hours of sleep. A lifetime of erratic schedules has him trained well, but he doesn't know what exactly to do with the idle time he finds on his hands more often than not since arriving in Wonderland.

The events keep him on his toes, along with everyone else, but the downtime has him unable to sit still, preferring to patrol through the hallways, or on the grounds. Just in case.

Of what? He can't exactly say. Just in case of anything.

The 19th finds him in the library, a pile of books in front of him and a headache brewing behind his eyes. There are computers available and he could be doing plenty of research on those, but there's just something gratifying about combing through books. Plus, it's a good way to keep him busy.

After a few hours, he needs a break. A walk should clear his head, get him moving, so he leaves the library with no particular destination in mind.

Not long after he starts on his stroll he catches sight of a familiar blond teen. He comes to a stop halfway down the hall, his conversation with Isaac still fresh in his mind. The boy insisted that nobody tell Erica her fate, that he'll bring it up when the time is right. Chris isn't sure if that time has come just yet, but he'll keep it quiet until he can get a good read on her.

As he starts walking in her direction again, he takes in what he can through her body language - she seems distracted, that much is obvious. It has him curious and when he's close enough he greets her.

"Hello, Erica."
