Summary: Kairi and Sora meet to discuss something important. And to hang out and stuff.
the Story:

Sora took a deep breath and plopped down on his bed. Scratching his chin, he chewed on his bottom lip. Kairi said she had something to discuss. About himself too. He was curious and almost nervous to know what it was.

Maybe he knew already. Maybe he didn't.

Still, he felt so... unsafe in the mansion.

Crossing his legs Indian-style, Sora looked out the window, resting his chin in the palm of his hand. At firs this place was fun and exciting, like all of his other adventures, but it had been too long. And he wasn't sure if there was even a way out.

But there was no use thinking like that. Riku, Kairi and Sora would find a way out together, right? Like always. Laughing, he shook his head and continued to wait for Kairi.

Her feet felt like lead as she trudged up the stairs one by one. She needed some time to think, to form the thoughts rushing through her mind into words. Kairi saved herself some time by taking each step slowly, but yet, still climbing.

She hoped they would have some alone to speak. Afterall, she knew a numerous amount of people shared his room now; she was hopefully, going to join her friends very soon and take up occupancy in Sora's dorm.

Finally, the top of the landing. Kairi remembered the door too, she had visited once before. She stepped up and knocked once on the door with a rap of her knuckles and awaited admittance. Hope it was loud enough. She pressed her lips into a thin smile, preparing to greet her best friend and wondered for the slightest moment whether to jump straight to the matter or start off with a friendly discussion.

Sora jumped up from the bed at the knock. With a smile, he hopped over to the door. Pulling it open, his smile widened when he saw one of his best friends on the other side (even though he had been expecting her, it was still nice to see here again).

"Kairi!" Sora said before pulling his friend in for a tight "I missed you!" hug.

Kairi was blind-sided a little from the abrupt hug, but recuperated and wrapped her arms around Sora, clinging to him just as firm.

"It's so great to see you, Sora." She replied and lightly released him.
"How have you been?" He looked well and still as energetic as ever, that was surely noticeable.

"I've been good," Sora said with a smile, pulling back from the hug as well. Stepping back, he ushered her into the room. "I could be better, but I could be worse." He laughed a bit to himself and closed the door behind them.

The room was pretty disasterous, but it wasn't as bad as it had been twenty minutes prior (as he had picked up some of the dirty stuff lying around).
