Who: Doctor Whale, Zombies, and you?
Where: around the prison yard
When: during zombiepocalypse event
Rating: R for safety because: gruesome descriptions, violence, other zombie things
Summary: There are zombies. Doctor Whale decides to capture one but ends up biting off more than he can chew
The Story: By now he was growing used to Wonderland's habit of taking them to strange new places every week or so. And since he'd already been cast the villain in one scenario and became a murderer in another, Victor decided "to hell with it" and made sure to carry a weapon on him when he slept.

He never visited a prison yard before today but suspected riots weren't out of the question. Turned out there was something even more sinister.

He saw the first one at a distance, ambling along with eerie gutteral breaths. Victor watched it in fascination and tracked it. It never seemed to tire or need food; it wasn't a living being, yet it wasn't entirely dead. It was a reanimated corpse. That discovery sent shivers of excitement through his body. Finally.... finally.

Victor got his gun ready and shot at the next one he saw. Rather than fall, it turned toward him. He fired again but the bullets didn't seem to phase the creature. Worse, the noise aroused the attention of others. How was he going to put one down if they couldn't be stopped by bullets? He fired one more time and this time the creature fell. He killed it, or re-killed it. Whatever.

The others were still coming and he didn't have enough bullets for them all. He didn't want to leave his specimen behind but he had no choice: he had to run. At least until he found a better way to capture one.

Lucky for him, Clara is out and about with her trusty shotgun and crowbar. She's tiny, but knows how to use weapons when she finds them. And she just keeps managing to find all sorts of weapons around this prison. She's been keeping watch and exploring, making sure to stay a good distance away from the things attempting to eat everyone as she casually found places to hide out and observe. She was up on a fenced in walkway from one end of the prison yard to the other when she spotted Victor, and after a few seconds of watching him struggle she calls out his name and takes aim with her shotgun. The holes in the fence are perfectly sized for shooting, she's sure of it.

"Look out!"

And with that shouted out, she fires the shotgun, wincing at the recoil. But that wince quickly turns to a grin and laughter as she realizes she's hit one of the creatures right in the forehead. The Doctor's right, she's brilliant with weapons. Which probably says a lot about what sort of person she is and is something she ought to be worried about. But when in Rome, shoot zombies the way everyone else would in a zombie movie.

"I'm coming to you, keep moving!"

She commands, and pulls the tip of the shotgun out from the fence so she can hurry her way downstairs and open double doors for him to run inside and stay safe.

"Everything will be just fine," she says this to reassure him more than herself, and presses her back up against the door, her feet digging into the ground to help her apply more force to keep it shut. "As much as I hate the thought of leaving it behind, we ought to use the shotgun to slide between the handles, locking the door. Soon as they're gone, we'll come back and fetch it."

Because she certainly wasn't going to totally abandon her favorite weapon, after all. She was sure she'd need it again before this particular event is over. So she turns and sadly slides it through the handles, hoping it holds for a while so the walkers get bored and move to someplace else.

This was not what Al wanted to wake up to. Aside from being separated from his brother--again--the things crawling around everywhere were absolutely terrifying. Fortunately he'd seen the post on the network, and grabbed himself an axe to try and defend himself. Though really he'd run more than fought, the still-human faces freezing him before he could swing.

When he spots Victor running from the mob, however, he charges over, grabbing a rock up off the ground and chucking it at the horde. "Run! I'll try to distract them!"

Al stumbles a bit when Victor grabs him, confused, but starts to follow after a second. "Then let's get back inside, they can't swarm us as easily in the halls!"

Al nods--he remembered the cashe had been moved inside at some point, on the second floor. "Okay. Then we can figure out a way back out of here. Brother and I have been staying out in the woods for the most part."

He hauls the door open long enough for Victor to get inside, then slams it shut again.

Al frowns as he leads the way down the halls, looking back to Victor. "Are you sure you'll be okay on your own?"

Al frowns, but sighs and shakes his head. "If you're sure. Just...please be careful, okay? I don't want you to get hurt."

Al grimaces, but nods. "Okay."

It doesn't take too long for them to get to the room the weapons were stored in--thankfully they didn't run into any crawlers still left inside. "Here we are."
