Who: Agent Washington (
notthesecondworstfighter) and Adam Milligan (
halfwinchester)
Where: Mansion hallways, then someone's room.
When: Feb. 2nd, evening
Rating: PG-13 for now to be safe?
Summary: After running into each other, Wash and Adam hole up and try to stay awake all night to avoid unfortunate angel consequences. Basically, the worst slumber party ever. Of all time.
The Story:
[So, creepy stone angel statues that can kill you if you aren't watching them and even close your eyes in the quickest blink. That's crazy by anyone's standards, but even for Wonderland, Wash has decided that's pushing it. How the hell are they supposed to keep themselves all alive through this event, anyway? The statues had made their creepy way into the mansion and seemed to be around just about any corner you turned and it's really hard to not blink while you watch them and slowly make your getaway.
He'd be better off with people, he knows that. He's been trying to find people, but it seems like most of them are hiding or...something, because he sure hasn't seen anyone since the first or second day. They were all probably smarter than him about this he figures as he scuffs the floor with his armored boot. Most likely, he's completely screwed. If he can't shoot something to destroy it, he's pretty much at a loss and outside his area of expertise with dangerous things. Which, really? Makes it pretty damn scary.
Of course, he'd also nearly had his heart stop on him just a few minutes ago where he'd had to blink, and when he opened his eyes, there were two angels at the end of the hall where he'd just come from. God, this should not be a thing, these things should not be allowed.
Having it in his mind to just get back to his room and stay there for the next few days, Wash starts running down the hall, fully armored as per usual, even if he's doubting that'll help him any against these things. It's kind of a last resort, holing up in his room, but it's the only thing he can think of to do at this point to survive, so even if it's maybe not the best idea, it still seems a hell of a lot better than hanging around out here.]
[ooc: just let me know if anything should be changed about this!]

Nodding at Adam's suggestion, Wash settles his mirror into place facing the door. There, that should be good. But maybe one more, just to cover the center would be even better. Better safe than sorry, right? Even if it might be excessive, it could also save their hides.
He's about to move back to the closet when Adam brings up his next suggestion.]
I-- ...I guess I could. [Blinking, he stands back up straight and glances over at Adam, uncertainty in his expression. He's not so sure he wants to do that... The idea of every surface being a mirror sounds uncomfortable.] It might be a little excessive though, don't you think? I mean, if we can cover both of the possible entrances...
[Okay, it's actually a good idea, but he literally just doesn't want his room to be one big mirror. What if Wonderland thinks it's funny to not let him change it back after all this is over???]

It's still strange to have others defer to him, even if that's everything he's craved for a long time.]
It wasn't a serious suggestion, but it's not like it's not doable.
[Hey, do what you want, but is there really such a thing as excessive survival?]
